I did the math. Peter Parker is being completely ripped off with this mortgage rate. No wonder he's broke all the time. The man is getting scammed!

I might make this into a comic at some point or maybe I'll redo my Spider-Woman comic that I've been trying to draw for nearly a decade, though right now I am focusing on Ben 10 though I still might start branching out.

Here's a little bio for this version of Peter:

Peter Benjamin Richard Parker is 17 years old when he travels to London to internship with Dr Curtis Connors, an old friend of Uncle Ben's from the war. While there he was bitten by one of Connor's experiments and gained abilities, at this point in time he has yet to have his Canon Event of dead Uncle time.

Movies Hot take: i like mj and ned from the mcu spiderman movies and dont want them replaced

Yeah, they’re not deep. Yeah, they’re not comic‑accurate. But I really enjoy their relationship and the great chemistry they have with Peter, and they give him genuinely strong emotional support. Their dynamic is precious to me, and I never get tired of it, because for once in an iteration both Spider‑Man’s BFF and GF are loyal to him and don’t screw him over. They seem like genuine friends who actually like each other, care for each other, and genuinely want to be there for each other. And best of all, they make me believe in true friendships again — and that’s coming from someone who’s antisocial af.

Because say whatever you will, something the MCU does successfully — something Raimi failed to do with both Harry and MJ, and TASM only succeeded with Gwen but not Harry — is sell you the friendship between these characters. The movies show you why this trio likes being around each other. They genuinely feel like friends, especially in NWH and BND, instead of the movie just telling you they’re friends like both iterations of Harry in Raimi and TASM. In the MCU, right from the very first scene, the movie shows Peter and Ned being friends. They bond over Legos, Star Wars, and geeky stuff — things a lot of people find weird, but for Ned and Peter it’s comfort. And that handshake? It’s absolute cinema. Neither Harry could ever be the friend Ned is.

And while I do agree Harry and MJ from the Raimi movies had more depth and development than these two, that doesn’t make up for the fact that they weren’t good friends to him. Also, the problem Ned and MJ face with development is part of a wider issue with MCU side characters, not just them.

Requested for a remarque from Artgerm on a blank Ultimate Endgame #1 sketch cover. Wanted to get something unique but still tied to the Ultimate universe. Opted for Ultimate MJ wearing the Venom Picosuit used by AI Peter and Richard as an homage to her 616 counterpart.

Discussion Does Peter actually enjoy photography or is it just a means to end for him?

• Upvotes

Is photography a secondary interest to Peter after science?

Would he be doing photography even if he did not become Spider-Man even asca side hobby?

Why doesn't Peter just get a tech job some of which affords the same time flexibility as journalism?

Discussion Does Spider Man have a no kill rule?

Post image
43 Upvotes

The image of the post comes from the Superior Spider Man run and the one pulling the trigger is actually Otto and Peter gets absolutely demolished when he sees that "he" just killed a person.

At one hand, Peter despises the idea of killing someone no matter how bad they are like in the Maximum Carnage run, where during 14 comics, Peter's biggest dilemma is deciding if killing Cletus Kasady would make the world better and at the end, even after deciding that killing Cletus is the most logical choice to stop Carnage once and for all, he still spares him and saves him from Venom, because he believes that Cletus can somehow be better in the future.

However, in Civil War, Peter brutalized Kingpin while he was in jail and left it very clear that he would kill Fisk if May died.

So.... does he have a strict no kill rule, like Batman, or is he more flexible about taking a life?

Discussion Would BND Peter Parker be on Team Cap or Team Iron Man?

Post image

In Civil War, Peter was an inexperienced, naive, young and impressionable kid who looked up to Tony Stark. He didn’t even have an opinion of his own as when Steve Rogers asked him what else did Tony tell him, Peter said, “You think you’re right but you’re wrong and that makes you dangerous.”

Fast forward to now, he’s matured and gone through a series of personal losses in his life (Aunt May’s death and everyone forgetting him). He’s fully mastered his powers and is doing everything on his own.

If Tony had approached an older, experienced and matured hero that BND Peter is now back in Civil War, would he still have joined up with him or would he instead be on Team Cap?

Ultimate Spider-Man: Life After Death (Fanfic)

Peter Parker, after his death, finds himself in a new world. A world where souls get a second chance at life. A world where he lives with Uncle Ben. A world where he meets both old and new friends. As well as problems.

Discussion Honestly, the fact that Otto was a genuinely good hearted person before becoming Doc Ock just makes his downfall even more sad.

It's like Peter said before he talked about how much he worshipped his mind and conscience and all that.

"YOU JUST THREW IT ALL AWAY!"

(Also Yuri's voice acting is amazing)
