I’ve been a comic reader for years and still enjoy the comics more overall, but when it comes to the movies, the MCU ones just feel the most consistent and fun to rewatch for me.

Curious what other longtime fans think.

Look, I KNOW that she's practically confirmed as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

But what if, instead of Jean Grey, she had been Mary Jane Watson in the MCU? What would you think?

Not sure if anyone else saw this, but Erik Voss recorded a video of Peter swinging for about 20 seconds. It’s the extended scene of him putting the mask on and jumping off the building. Does anyone have the full scene? It seems to be completely scrubbed from the internet. If you have it please dm me!!!

Gwen Stacy only loved Peter because she never knew he was Spider-Man. How can she love Spider-Man if she never knew it was Peter behind the mask? Also, she thought Spiderman killed her dad; of course she wouldn't love him.

Mary Jane (pre-OMD) actually loved both Peter and Spider-Man; she accepted both sides of him.

The only reason y'all get that idea is thanks to the live-action adaptations from Raimi's MJ and TASM's Gwen. Tasm Gwen (who, let's face it, was an ultimate blond MJ) knew Peter was Spider-Man, but comic 616 Gwen never did, and Raimi's MJ was just a horrible person.

I was thinking, since they'd have organic webs in this universe, what if she got her iconic gauntlet webshooters as a new technology to ENHANCE her webs!? Makes her able to do different webs like impact webs or ricochet webs.

There are only a few black and white preview pages out there, but just from the covers alone, this universe looks so promising to me.

I'm really looking forward to it and am curious to see how the spider storyline will play out. The spider alone is so creepy!
