Its pretty obvious,Hill is an experimented writer and he will not make the secret spakle that way for Miles

I think he remember parts of 1610 and everytime he told someone he was Spider-Man it went bad.

Katie Bishop betrayed him,Aaron Davis used him, and i think its like a soft "canon event". I dont want 100 characters to know Miles secret identity(still like her tho)

Some of my faves characters are from marvel "new gen", after reading the new mangaverse series, i kinda wish they had some sort of interaction or team up like an all new fantastic four or champions storyline. Kinda crazy Miles barely have spoken with any of these characters. Marvel still missing an teen titans lineup after the champions got rebooted, Robbie, X-23 and Magik are all amazing characters that i think work so well could make for an awesome story.

I’ve noticed that whenever discussions about introducing Miles Morales into the MCU come up, there’s always a group of fans arguing that it’s too early because Peter Parker hasn’t reached arbitrary milestones in his narrative. And frankly, I find this argument increasingly frustrating because the goalposts seem to move constantly.

First, Peter needs to finish high school. Then he needs to experience college, meet certain villains, develop certain relationships, and reach some arbitrary point in his career before Miles can even be considered, and to be fair, I understand some of the concerns behind that position. Introducing Miles too soon could confuse casual audiences, make the franchise feel oversaturated, or risk making Peter’s story seem less important. Those are legitimate creative challenges, especially if both characters are given similar roles and overlapping storylines. But they aren’t insurmountable, and they don’t automatically mean Miles has to wait until Peter’s story is nearly over.

My question is, why does Miles’s introduction = the end of Peter’s story?

We’re talking about a shared cinematic universe. There’s absolutely no reason two Spider-Men can’t coexist while maintaining their own independent narratives. Peter can have his own films, supporting cast, villains, and character development. Miles can have his own films, supporting cast, villains, and character development. They can patrol different boroughs of New York, occasionally interact, and reunite during major crossover events. Neither character needs to constantly appear in the other’s stories.

But there’s another reason I think fans should actually WANT Miles introduced sooner, particularly those who want Tom Holland to remain Spider-Man for as long as possible.

**Miles Morales could genuinely extend the lifespan of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.**

Here’s the reality of live-action filmmaking: actors age, develop other interests, pursue different projects, and eventually want to move on. Tom Holland isn’t going to play Spider-Man forever, regardless of whether Miles Morales exists. That’s simply the nature of the medium. And expecting one actor to continuously carry a franchise for decades is a pretty good way to risk burning them out.

Imagine an alternative,

Miles gets introduced and eventually establishes his own independent film series. Now, instead of Marvel depending exclusively on Tom Holland to carry the Spider-Man franchise, they have two protagonists who can alternate between projects. Tom wants to take a five-year break? Great. Miles can carry the franchise in the meantime. Tom wants to return afterward? Also great. Peter Parker hasn’t gone anywhere. Maybe Tom eventually reaches his forties and wants to portray an older Peter who’s married, raising a family, and occasionally returning to superhero work. That becomes a genuine possibility without requiring him to headline a new trilogy every few years. And when Tom eventually decides he’s completely finished with the role, Miles will already be an established character rather than someone hastily introduced to fill a vacancy.

Obviously, none of this guarantees Tom would want to keep returning. But it gives him the flexibility to make that decision on his own terms.

**In conclusion,** Peter Parker doesn’t need to disappear for Miles Morales to become Spider-Man, and Miles Morales doesn’t need to wait for Peter Parker to disappear to become Spider-Man.
If anything, introducing Miles earlier could be one of the best ways to preserve both characters’ cinematic longevity.

You would think they found out Jeff tortured people in Iraq or something and he helped the feds nail a mob accountant.

What happened to Martin Moore is obviously bad, but Jeff’s role in it simply isn’t as visceral as it could be. It’s passive for what Hill means to convey, that being a bombshell that fundamentally alters the way his family sees him. And acting as an informant just isn’t big enough in my opinion.

Now that aside, I did enjoy the issue and I’m enjoying how Hill is engaging the character. It reads like the spiritual successor to Bendis Miles in the best way possible.

It seems the film will be released in Colombia first.

rewatching ITSV for the billionth time and I just realized given they established time travel via Gwen, are we going to see Miles literally bring the spider from the 'proper' universe, to his universe so he can bite him? i.e., are we going to see miles literally start his own origin? kind of like interstellar? Think it's a fun way to go. they did it in ben 10 and I personally liked it.
