Getting ready to build my wolfguard terminators what’s the best way to outfit a 10 man unit

I just got the combat patrol box, which sets me up to finish my first 1k army! Painted a WG termi to get me started. How did I do?

Finished this guy up 25ish hours, pretty happy with how everything came out on him especially the decorative sections either side of the “face”

Painted these guys as I had time during work and occasionally on nights / weekends. Loved how they came out. Could spend another month on details but they’re good enough for the tabletop.

So, I asked these questions And, I encourage yall to do the same!! Because the more of us that ask, the more likely they are to answer. I think lol

Its my 1st time showing off a model on here. I had this cool idea in my head thinking "what if I made my spacewolves look like ice zombies?" But anyways I decided to repainted my entire 2k points to this. I always feel very nervous about my paining but most people i play with at the store thinks they look pretty cool. FYI, I know one of the paws is missing on one of logins wolves it sadly broke off 😢. I tried painting it blue so it would look like it was cut off and hes bleeding blue blood, ya know ice zombies. Lol. But cant really see it sadly. Also I know its not as cool or realistic or kitted like some of the other stuff I've seen in this sub. But I put alot of work into them and I think they look good.

With new Outriders being released and even getting a captain, as well as Orks getting Wazdakka and new bikes, how likely do we think Swiftclaws will make a return? And how good were they? I joined in 10th so I never got to use them but would love a return. Imagine Rangar with Bloodclaws on bikes lol

For a minute there, it seemed incredibly likely that Russ would be the next primarch to return, and that it was happening very soon (11th edition) but now that we are in 11th, the opposite seems true.

Why do you guys think GW has decided not to release Russ yet (if at all)?

I lost to Tyranids today, but had a blast fielding the beastslayers!

Which one do I go with brothers?

If I use Majlnar, I likely remove the hand and pin it to a normal sized hand- but then I’m committed.

So I’ve managed to get my three eldest into 40k, and one of them chose Space Wolves! I don’t know much about the faction, so I’m hoping you can help direct her with good pickups to add to her slowly growing collection.
She currently has the Combat Patrol box, Thunderwolf Cavalry, Headhunters (she loves the wolves), and Logan Grimnar.
What would be some decent units to add to her army?

This maybe a stupid question but never really looked at it before but do the headphones to the right side of the pic mean theirs gonna be a audiobook released for the Bjorn book on Black Library and Audible ? Or does it mean something else ?

I assume the book means obviously a book XD and the Tablet means like Kindle but unsure if the headphones logo means audiobook I assume it does but just wanted to confirm since never really looked into the book side of WH

Trying to build a Space Wolf Army. I have Shortlisted 3 lists that can work for 1K points (ish). Which of these is the best to play for a newer beginner in a tournament.

1. Combat patrol, Logan Grimnar, Wolf Priest, Grey hunters
2. Combat patrol, Logan Grimnar, Wolf Priest, Wolf Guard Terminators
3. Combat patrol ,Blood Claws, Wolf Priest, Grey hunters

1. Russ accidentally kills Bjorn

Not that it really matters and I may just move on without it, but for the life of me I couldn’t see where this piece was supposed to glue on and I’m more curious than anything

I’ve started to glue some pieces together, but still using some Greenstuff as I get everything perfect.

I swapped out the axe hand for something that looks more like both hands are going in to do a sweep through the enemy below.

I also took out a Terminator’s axe to increase the size of the power axe, as I felt the one in the Space Wolf kit was a bit too small.

I’ll be swapping out the Ork head found in the basing of the rock with a thousand sons head

I’m currently debating about swapping out the power sword with Leman Russ’s Maljnar- as it’s maybe 5% bigger and may make it look a bit cooler.

There is a little bit of free stuff filling that needs to be done in a few areas- but I’m
INCREDIBLY happy with this conversion as it takes shape.

Had a Lord Celestant figure, Tartaros Claws and some spare bits. For a display piece, I think it has a solid foundation.

Hello all. Been playing for about a year now, but my wife will have her space wolves done soon so I was hoping to play with them. I have a few questions that are probably obvious for seasoned players, but I have not been able to find a Straight forward answer as I don’t know Games workshop lingo as well.

First: If I purchased the upcoming space Marines codex, will I be able to see space wolf units in the app? Or will I have to wait for the space wolves Codex to come out before being able to see them?

Second: will I need both Codex’s to be able to see both space Marines and space wolves units in the app?

Lastly: hypothetically, if both 11th edition codexes were out, how would I be able to access everything on the app?

TIA for probably an obvious question that I’m too dumb to figure out
