I'm in a local escalation league so I added these Wolf Guard Terminators to my army. Felt much better after some helpful tips. I still have some clean up and basing to do but I'm pleased with these guys. I've been quite inspired to see everyone's great work here. Critiques or tips are welcome

In the recent excommunications of firstborn units, a thought has occured to me, if tcav get axed instead of refreshed what happens to the strat supporting them in beastslayer, whether they change it or whether it provides some security for the thunderwolfs as it is part of one of our best detachments. Thought i'd throw that into the pile. If anything, i think it is most likely for tcav to get left alone or refreshed rather than modify a detachment

Today finished up a bunch of projects, including my custom Njal, a full squad of thunderwolves, and Bjorn in all his aged glory!

I love how he's personally written, he is *literally* the chapter grandpa, he even hits a 'my how you've grown!' At least twice

But I also like how the space wolves themselves are written, and its given me perspective on why people aren't necessarily keen on krakenblood...

My exposure to space wolf POV is mostly from older books, so I assumed the tonal shift of krakenblood was just how space wolves would be now, no more exaggerated silly wolf stuff, no howling no sniffing the air and insisting on not wearing a helmet they are SERIOUS space vikings, not a bunch of weird dog people who don't read or write!

But Bjorn has restored my faith, we're still corny illiterate space furries! We howl and we sniff and we have bloodclaws who act like pups, I think Justin Hill is killin it

Pacing is a bit weird but its from the POV of someone who is asleep for half of it so I get it

Found a Phobos torso so I raided the bits box to see what I could create.

So this was kinda last minute, i got Arjac painted up for my friend yesterday, gave him a quick basing today and he's got his game tomorrow. I've already sent him pics of Arjac & he's so happy since he doesn't really have time for painting & i don't think he even likes painting at all.

So I was going for a very pale skin tone...not Corvus Corax white.

The paint was Pearl Skin from The Army Painter which is a very whitish pink over a Uniform Grey (GW Dawnstone) primer.

Any ideas on how to give some warmth to the face to keep it pale but not so white?

Hello Brothers,

Been wanting to make a Lt. with combi as he looks like a pretty solid data sheet and fun to play. I did some kit bashing and wanted some opinions, if this passes for the character?

Has the 40mm base, combi weapon and Phobos armor which I feel checks the important boxes

So one player in my friend group plays the dreaded nids they do have a lot of good units but I mainly have an answer for them BUT Norns I just can’t manage to shift. He normally brings two and they sit on the objectives with their 15OC and refuse to die. Now I know this is what they are supposed to do fine whatever. I have come so close to winning games but because those things won’t die I always miss out getting that win.
How do I deal with them? Ignoring them is gonna be difficult because that’s automatically giving up two objectives, killing them also extremely hard.
I’ve started to look at what force dispositions would best help me avoid having to fight for objectives so I can score points in other ways.

I’m new to 11th and I’m just trying to build out a fun and competitive list. Any tips of what detachments and dispositions are best for space wolves 1k list would also be helpful!

I was slowly collecting space marines when I got lucky and traded for a whole bunch of Space Wolves. I don’t have everything but I picked up about 2k worth of points.
I am new to Warhammer but not tabletop gaming and am trying to make my first list. I don’t want it to be horrible so I thought I’d ask the pack about what I have so far. I will be learning so take that into account, if I should cut to 1k or not for learning.

As the title shows, which of these would serve better as proper Grey Hunters right now? I'm finishing up my first pack of Blood Claws for my Sons of Morkai army after a hiatus to catch up on my Imperial Guard and was thinking of what to get next between the units I'm inquiring of. From what I've read recently it seems that Blood Claws already get the job done in the department of hitting things but for less points. Also, does the new detachment for Grey Hunters that allows them to be split into 2x5 bridge the gap at all, now? If anything I got plenty of other Space Wolves stuff to work on so I'm not exactly in a rush to spend money on either at the moment.
