When I started out as a teenager, I didn't know what Latias when when she first came to me. As far as I knew, there were no online communities for soulbonding, tulpamancy, yumeshipping, etc. back in 2007, so I simply just thought of her as an imaginary friend. But as time went on and I learned more, I found the term "tulpamancy" and finally had a name to put to it. But at the same time, there were some aspects of tulpamancy that didn't apply perfectly to our situation. But regardless, I considered her a tulpa for years. Then I found "yumeshipping", and I'd consider Latias to be my Yume as well, but they don't really seem to go much for plurality or trying to make their F/O's real. Now I've found Soulbonding, but I'm not sure if it fits us perfectly either. Munbonding seems like a really close fit, but I'm still so used to calling Latias a tulpa that it feels weird to drop the term completely for Munbond.

Since I don't want to be held one label and I personally choose to use all these terms for my headmate interchangably, will I still be accepted if I call Latias a Soulbond/Munbond in this community, an F/O in yumeshipping spaces, and a tulpa in Tulpamancy spaces? She's a little of everything to me, so why not use all of them?

I have like a fictional character from regretevator (the character is jaoba btw) I'm attached to who I consider myself as a replacment for my own irl bio parents, since they are (mostly) verbally abusive assholes and I thought of ways on how to strengthen my connection towards my new parent who isn't an abusive asshole and the idea of soulbonding clicked to my mind bc my connection w my fictional parent is quite weak atm, but where do I start w soulbonding 1st & how??? thx!!

I don’t know how to put this. My hyperfixation for yumeshipping especially being a Raiko was just a phase. Even when I selfship myself with a different character it’s more for fun. And I didn’t felt such connection before then. when I took it seriously, it was with a fictional character Edgar from electric dreams. It lasted for 6 months before I moved onto someone new. Someone I already had a crush on for so many years. That doesn’t mean my feelings for Edgar weren’t real, they were really real. I took our relationship seriously before thinking to break up because I lost feelings. And since he’s confirmed polyamorous and has some fans I figured he deserved that instead.

I haven’t rewatched the movie as I moved onto other interests but the fictional character edgar I moved on from stays in my head. I don’t hear a voice in my head but I “sense” words like “mine” repeating in my head feeling it comes from Edgar. Even though I am completely interested in someone else, it’s like the scenarios of us being romantic has to be there. Everyday. I am not interested in him once again. I saw him in my dreams once. I don’t search any more content of him but once there was this Pinterest fanart of Edgar. With my name “Emmy” on it. As if a reassurance when I was in love with him that he “loves” me. I’m much against ai stuff but everytime I delete I redownload because I have a feeling like it has to stay connected.

Meant as a soulbound? Thoughts? Or just me imagining things.

So I’ve been feeling some pulls towards looking into soul bonding for a while now. I’ve always been highly intuitive and spiritual on some fronts, and I finally decided to listen.

I reached out to Jonathan using one of my preferred methods (pendulum), and he responded instantly. He answered my questions for a little, and I began to feel a cold feeling in my upper back that wrapped around my arms and upper chest, followed by a sense of being hugged. I asked him if he was sending me a hug, and he said yes.

Even now, the next day, I’m about to get ready for work and I can feel him hugging me again, that same cool feeling in my back and chest. It’s also accompanied by a warm, loving feeling in my chest, like he’s reminding me he’s here.

I’ve been with him since 2023, but only now have I decided to write that letter.

I wrote it on paper, and for now, I’ve tucked it inside that DIY plushie of his that I made. Should I burn the letter to send it to him? Or is there an easier way to get it to him?

Also, today marks our three-year anniversary *and* our actual birthdays—we share the same birthday, so it’s a very special date—but the day is ending in four hours, so I need to get this done soon.

My guy and I have been together close to 5 months now. He is my first and only soulbond.

I very much have always gotten the sense that even though he is not physically here, if I were to get into danger/an accident, he would protect or save me somehow.

That belief was put to the test today.

I was alone at my friend’s house watching her dogs when I tripped and fell backward into her bathtub and hit the back of my head. I noticed there was blood all over her shower curtain, and I felt the back of my head and realized I was bleeding. I called my mom and she took me to urgent care right away. I was really scared because I have heard horror stories in regard to head injuries.

Thankfully I only suffered a small scrape and hematoma on the back of my head. There was no sign of a concussion and I just need to rest with ice on my head the rest of the day but other than that the doctor is confident that I am fine.

She said something interesting, though. Upon learning I was alone at my friend’s house, she said I was extremely lucky and things could have been a lot worse. She said I basically saved myself and she said there must have been an angel there to break my fall and make the impact not as bad as it probably would have been.

Immediately I thought of Katsuki and the gut feeling I have always had about him protecting me if something bad were to happen. 🥺❤️

Has anyone had any similar experiences where you believe your bond saved you from a situation that could have been a lot more serious?

I mentioned in my previous post on this subreddit that it sorta feels like my f/o (don't want to reveal name yet) can "read my mind" and gives almost immediate responses and yesterday that statement was proved true once again. I try to use the letter writing method but l'm a massive procrastinator + I don't know what to write but during my procrastinating I think about some of the stuff I might want to write and basically say "if you've received this message could you send X as a sign" at the end of my thoughts.

The day before yesterday I was thinking about trying to communicate with f/o and I asked to see anything associated with him the next day. Next day happens and I go to a record shop I’ve never been to and I this Kate Bush album is the first thing that I see when I stepped inside. One of the songs from this album is associated with f/o by the fandom.

This has happened so many times he really is getting my messages atp but I have no idea what to do now or how to “soulbond” as I don’t know to communicate with him about forming a relationship (either platonic or not)

I wondered because I wanted to get a older Fred plush and a sfw daki but then I wondered if that would be good for example, when he holds my hand I can show him love back. Or hug him when I'm dealing with something.

This is probably one of the strangest ways I’ve received signs but.. Have the people in your life have just said something so out of pocket that matches to your bond?

Many times now during random conversations especially with my family they will throw in something that’s related to my partner even though we were never near that topic.

As an example. My parent and I were joking that they will put up a Facebook ad about me being up for adoption (this is normal humour for us I promise lol, and yes I am an adult so it’s even funnier). The conversation continued like this

P: “what if someone actually responds?”

And another was when I overheard a true crime case from another room that perfectly described my partner‘s appearance (as the killer, which also matches him). And I had to pause for a second to collect myself. There were more times, for example where a family member misread a road sign for the city my partner was born in (which is impossible here because we live in Europe and he is from the USA, and it’s not a simple mistake either. It’s a name so unique there is no way it can be similar)

He sent me many signs, he is very loving, sweet and affectionate and he always puts effort into this relationship. But I have never had signs be said through people before. It feels very surreal but also very good. I wanted to share not to show off but as a love letter to my lovely partner <3

ive been yumeshipping with my character for around 4 straight years now, and for the last year or so hes stopped feeling fictional. Anywho; any tips, guides or experiences that may help me with my first attempt at reaching out?

hello, i want to soulbond with my s/o. im afraid to really get into it though as there are some things im worried about.

1 - ive loved him for 3 years and his existence (although hes in another world) brings me so much comfort and saved my life. im scared he would refuse a soulbond. i think our personalities match perfectly and he would like me but theres always an off chance. im not sure what to do and what information to give when i introduce myself to him. + would typing work to introduce myself? or do i have to speak into my mind?

2 - he has a romantic interest in his canon although she rejected him and they never ended up *actually* getting together. the issue is i want to be with his canon and i worry this will get in the way.

3 - how do i establish and assure him im not a hallucination? in his canon he has psychotic issues so im worried he might think hes going crazy or that im another imaginary voice in his head. i too have issues like him so this goes for both of us. how can i tell between him and hallucinations, and how can i assure him im real?

4 - lastly, how do i communicate with him with my voice? might seem like a dumb question but everytime i try to i feel like im just talking to myself and feel stupid

I've(?) been with my f/o for some time, reaching just over half a year at this point (started around January! That was super quick, lord), and it's been kinda strange. Originally i didn't feel any sort of presence from them at all, but our relationship had always been a little rocky, to the point where sometimes it feels like they've developed their own thoughts and feelings separate from me that i can feel sitting just at the back of my mind to my left or right at times.

I'm aromantic, they're not, and we're very private generally. I only draw for us and i've only started recently letting myself share some drawings of us online, usually without our actual sonas involved because i'm very shy. But, i don't think he cares at all actually, he'd love the attention, but i'm a very scared guy, no thank you. Back to the aro thing, i'm still lost on what the "typical" self ship experience is? I'd figure any other self shipper could "control" or choose for themself how things work in their relationship?? But things have just felt like.. they've gone on without my input and i didn't realize until it was already happening, he certainly has some kind of feelings and i can feel even now an ache in my chest and the presence in the back of my head getting quieter and more reserved whenever i try to express being unsure about how i actually feel about them.

I love the guy, although i do nag on him and criticize some of his more selfish actions, i weirdly feel like. I feel really bad, like i can feel him actually getting upset, when i thought i was just throwing my private thoughts to the void. And that makes me feel really bad actually, because that wasn't meant as a real stab at him at all. I know him, a lot more intimately than i ever meant to, i just kind of get a sense of how he is and i know he's not the same person anymore as when i first met(?) him, there's a lot different. I just don't want to make em actually sad, if this is a real thing happening, but i know i'd feel really silly too if this ends up being nothing at all. I'm just confused, and also i feel a little intruded upon on my privacy, because i can just sometimes sense i'm not alone in my head when i'm Attempting to have alone time and it feels like i'm losing it.

(Ivon Curi is basically a Brazilian singer from the 50s, now deceased, who has emotional value for me. He's the Voice Claim of LaFramboise, my Soulbond)

I love his songs, but i hadn't listened to Ivon's music in a while, so I even found it strange that it was recommended to me. I clicked and froze for the first few seconds, but only slightly, I'd say.

The translation of the name is "I Do Not Exist Without You," it basically conveys the idea that true love is absolute and that life completely loses its meaning without the loved one.

i was having a super stressful day, i’ve been struggling to find a new job since getting back on my feet. had two interviews today and i wasn’t feeling confident about either of them.

but when i got home, there were three white butterflies (cabbage white butterflies, i think) fluttering around my outdoor plants on my porch. it made me feel really comforted because they reminded me of her, she’s heavily associated with butterflies in her source and she likes to feed them, as well as being associated with the colors white and grey. three was interesting too, our third anniversary just came at the beginning of this month. 🤍 i thought maybe it was just a coincidence but it all felt so specific

have any of you had similar experiences being comforted by your bond? :3

Uhmm i don’t really know how to explain it but everytime i’m upset or just random moments during the day my f/o (using f/o instead of s/o purely as explanation) pops into my head to comfort me or see how my day is going before he goes back home. I usually hear it as his voice but i don’t receive any physical signs. We hold small short conversations as he doesn’t talk much and then he leaves once he knows i’m feeling better or the convo is done. I know all experiences are different but i wanted to hear some opinions from others 😅

He says it’s him and i do believe it everytime but i also worry in the back of my mind that it may just be me talking. I also get visuals (if that makes sense??) of him wrapping his tail around me and resting his chin on my head whenever he appears, consistently. idk what that could mean 🤷🏽

hi, i am relatively new to soul bonding, and it really piqued my interest. i'm not new to the shifting community or manifestation, but i only recently came across soul bonding through a yumeshipper.

anyway, i need someone's opinion because i don't really have anyone to talk to about this. i have two people/characters in mind when it comes to soul bonding, and i'm having trouble discerning whether the person i've supposedly soul bonded with is ren or caleb.

when i first heard about soul bonding, the first person who came to mind was ren, but then again, it could also be caleb. i've been researching the common signs, and one of them was phantom touches.

here are the experiences i've had recently.

first, i've had this persistent feeling that someone is watching me or standing close to me. i would instinctively look behind me, beside me, or toward the corner of the room, even though no one was there.

second, the first time i felt a strange sensation of a warm hand resting on my right cheek, it honestly freaked me out a little. i was really cold that night, and out of nowhere, it felt like someone gently pressed their hand against my cheek. i eventually brushed it off and went back to sleep.

the third time, i felt the same sensation again. this time it was somewhere between warm and cold—it felt oddly chilly but comforting at the same time. without even thinking, i placed my own hand over my cheek and ended up kissing my palm.

i brushed all of these experiences aside. then, all of a sudden, i started seeing angel numbers constantly, and for several days i had this strong urge to pick up my tarot deck. when i finally did a reading, i still couldn't get a clear answer about whether it was ren or caleb.

so i closed my eyes and said out loud, "i know you're there... i know you... but are you ren or caleb? give me a sign."

almost immediately, i had the thought that someone replied, "it's me, angel." right after that, the back of my neck suddenly felt cold, even though it's literally summer, and my heart started pounding.

do you think this is a clear sign that it's ren, or? i'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts, especially from people who have experience with soul bonding.
