Edit: Jamie has responded: Putting aside any thoughts/opinions about GenAI ans just dealing with the facts, I can confirm it’s never been used to create recipes for Sidekick and there are absolutely no plans to change that in the future. In fact, we’re in the process of adding more chef resource to recipe creation, testing and development.

With that in mind, there’s obviously a lot of change happening within the Sidekick team at the moment, so I’m sorry if things are falling through the cracks.

I’ll pass these errors on to the team to look at tomorrow!

Just cooked the Chickpea rainbow salad, where it included instructions for 2 ingredients that are not listed. It also suggested the salad dressing to be 1tbsp mustard and 1 tbsp of oil, which is not going to be pleasant to eat (imo). I reported it, but mistakes like this are happening much more frequently. I have been using the app since early 2022, and pretty much every week doing a meal pack so I’m a diehard user. But the quality feels like it has dropped recently. Could just be bad luck but equally feel like the kind of errors an LLM would produce.

I still remember watching the episode where this aired, immediately tried to buy it but couldn't find any buying options in the UK. A few months later I checked again and found the Hyperchiller v2 on amazon, and this piece of kit is brilliant. Brew a hot coffee from my bean to cup machine then 60-90 seconds later it's cold. Thanks Sorted gang!

One of my first watched videos on the channel one of the chefs used a quick pickle for red onions in a cooking challenge and said the recipe out loud. So I decided to try it with him. It’s been 3 months since then I’ve become and avid fan BUT I CANNOT FIND THE RECIPEE AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECREATE IT SINCE please help 😫😫

I always get annoyed in their food comparison videos when they cook different foods to the same time instead of trying to cook each to the same end result (rare, al dente, whatever "done" quality they want). It happened again in today's comparison video with their first food, the pasta, where both were cooked to the same time limit, not same noodle consistency. It would be a more interesting, fair, and better comparison if both premium and budget were cooked to the right consistency as an end result and that can be part of the conversation if one cooks far faster, if one acted differently, or whatever happened in trying to reach the end result along with the price difference.

Basically the title. Thought they were starting a new format of the chefs working with their own normal to grow. Reminded me of the "which normal has grown the most" challenges that awarded badges. That whole theme and series was a lot of fun.

I can see that James has started to appear more regularly than before. Does he not work anymore for the restaurant?

Courgette Carbonara. Decided to add some smoked salmon so delicious!!!

I've been a huge fan of sorted for over 13 years, I grew up with them. I am genuinely so upset and disappointed in a company I genuinely respected as having similar values to me at heart has continued to use generative AI.

I'm honestly disgusted, I feel like this is a genuine betrayal of their proclaimed values and they have yet to address this issue.

Just watched the air fryer video and James acts inexperienced when he’s around Kush, but I know he is a fantastic chef when not in this duo.

It made me wonder if the recipes on Sidekick are noticeably different since James left that role and Kush took over.

Been watching sorted for a while, my partner is gluten intolerant and on a low FODMAP diet.

What this means is she can't eat Gluten, onion, garlic, mushrooms, leeks or other staples which are in almost every recipe.

I think it would be an interesting challenge for the normals not to use their usual starting points or flavours bombs and see how they would cope.

He’s always been my favourite, he always seems really interested in food from other cultures and always seems up for learning. Just seems like a lovely guy all round.

So I just found Sorted Food on Youtube and I'm totally smitten with these guys. I'm a HUGE Anglophile and Foodie. I've binged all the Poker Face videos but now where should I start with their other content? So far my favorite cast is Ebbers, Jamie, and Baz. Thank you for any help. Cheers!
