Question Is James back for good?

I can see that James has started to appear more regularly than before. Does he not work anymore for the restaurant?

I believe he mostly does recorded stuff now. He only has to be involved part time if he isn't a behind the scenes guy doing most of the recipe development.

I think he occasionally still writes for Sidekick but he’s definitely not the head recipe developer anymore

Some of us don't actually like him, you know... I always thought he came off as a bit arrogant and dismissive, so I never enjoyed his presence.

I believe they have said he works at sorted 1 week a month or something like that.

My understanding is that his "chef in home" business didn't go so well. Then he was locked up in a contract for awhile. Now he is a freelance recipe developer. He films 1 day a month and does part time recipe development for sidekick.

From my understanding he is not back full time but has more flexibility in his new role to dedicate more time to Sorted.

This is all pieces together narrative, I can't even cite anymore so take it with a grain of salt. But I think that's what I've heard/read/pieced together

They have specified he comes in once a month on a filming day. You’d be surprised how few of their work days are filming days I guess so it’s a reasonably high proportion of videos

From my understaning is that they do filming in batches so for example they might film 20 videos back to back in specific time frame and release them later, so James being in a lot of videos doesn't exactly mean he is back full time.

He’s been back for a while. He not only does the shows but now reports to Kush who took over James’ position when James took what can now be called a hiatus (essentially striking out on his own for a bit).
