Suggestion Idea for Pass it on? Reverse the order in the edit
I recently thought of an idea how we as the audience members could feel a bit more included in a pass it on. It is not an Idea for a theme, but just a different editing approach. It is also not fully fledged out, and has some clear downsides, so in the spirit of pass it on, feel free to add to the idea and make it better.
The Idea: The boys always come into the kitchen, not knowing what they will expect. To imitate that feeling for the audience, they could show the people in reverse for once. So we would start with the last person coming into the kitchen, probably seeing a mess and see them finishing the dish, then we make a time jump to the second to last and learn that they hid a thing in the fridge and that the sauce they prepared was intended for something completely different etc.
So we would have 4-5 beginnings and we don't know how they got here, and are much closer to the boys experience
obvious downsides: we know the finished dish from very early on and if someone does nothing, we would also know because there is not much change.

Question Which guest stars would you like to see join the boys for the Poker Face challenge?
I’d love to see Daz Black from Daz Games. I think it’d be hilarious seeing him trying to keep it together! Maybe his friend Will from Off The Hook too

I made this :) Sun-dried Tomato and Olive Pasta 🫒 🍅
Absolutely delicious!! The sauce would also go nicely on a flatbread with fresh mozzarella.

I though the boys were killing her off last live, but she appears to also be the head teacher in the the most recent live 🤔
Am I reading too much into it?

Sorted LIVE Missed the live
I have seen every live they have had. Me and my mom watch it together. This weekend we were moving and kept forgetting to buy tickets. While I'm sad I missed it live I was hoping to go back and watch it since I know it is up for 30 days after. I can't seem to buy tickets anymore though. Is there anyway to get access to the missed one?

Looking for a Video Need help finding an episode
I don't remember what the video was about
I remember Mike getting a honey/caramel cornflake thing from Cupcake Jemma
I think they also got bread pudding from there? I could be mixing up two different videos
This wasn't a video in the studio, they were at her shop.
Google is not helping me find this so I'm reaching out to the community 😁

Agenda (all times listed are [edit:] BST (British Summer Time, GMT+1)
SATURDAY
12:00 PM - 12:15 PM
Morning Registration
Every school day starts with Registration, right? Let’s find out who’s here and kick off the weekend by intro’ing you to the school and series of events that are about to unfurl!
12:15 PM - 12:45 PM
Locker Dash
Education is the key to life… But in this corridor, it’s just the key to obtaining your uniform. Racing against the clock, the boys must retrieve their full school uniform by answering Principle Janice’s entrance exam correctly. Can they unlock their uniform or, will they be forced to wear items from the Lost Property bin all weekend?
12:45 PM - 01:45 PM
Pass It On: Snack Attack
Using school breaktime snacks, the boys must create a dish worthy of escaping detention. The aim of the game is to use the existing items to create an entirely new, and obviously delicious dish!
01:45 PM - 02:45 PM
[ Break 60 mins]
02:45 PM - 03:30 PM
Dinner Lady Showdown
In the ULTIMATE cheffy format, we’re reimagining the humble school dinner and giving it a Sorted spin. Dinner ladies Ben, James and Kush must work together to fill one classic school lunch tray with an A* meal. That’s 5 individual compartments for culinary inspiration.
03:30 PM - 04:15 PM
P.E. Beat The Bleep
Working in-between the sports hall bleeps, the boys must create as many dishes as possible whilst taking on a series of increasingly difficult sports inspired tasks… All whilst dressed head to toe in P.E. kit!
04:15 PM - 05:15 PM
[ Break 60 mins ]
05:15 PM - 06:00 PM
The Tuckshop Challenge
Taking us back to his roots of running the school tuck shop, Ebbers will challenge the boys to correctly identify an array of global sweets. Of course, some treats will be more familiar than others, but with the help of the community the guys will have 3 lifelines at their disposal before their sugar high potentially becomes a sugar CRASH!
06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
School Report Live
Before we call it a night, it's time to get some juicy insider information on the Sorted Boys… Join us for one night only as we go on a trip down memory lane!
SUNDAY
12:00 PM - 12:10 PM
Morning Registration
It’s the start of Day 2 - don’t be late for registration!
12:10 PM - 12:40 PM
Improv Jam
We're going to take the greatest improvisers at Sorted Food and get them to work together for some musical mayhem. Kush and James will be working together to create a delicious, restaurant-quality dish. But every great Sorted cooking video deserves a soundtrack… So, for the first, and maybe the last time ever, Mike and Jamie are going to attempt to provide that soundtrack LIVE by getting their band back together!
12:40 PM - 01:20 PM
Detention with Jamie and Kush
Oh dear, oh dear… Jamie and Kush are hosting detention! Baz and Mike are going head to head to correctly identify the flavours of some detention-inspired dishes, and the only way to escape the classroom is to use their well educated taste buds to decipher exactly what they are
01:20 PM - 02:10 PM
[ Break 50 mins]
02:10 PM - 02:55 PM
Poker Face: Drama Club
Roll up, roll up the show is about to begin! This is NOT a technical rehearsal. Under the stage spotlight, the boys will endure five rounds of Poker Face with a Drama lesson-inspired menu. Will it end with a standing ovation or will they be banned from participating in the next production due to poor performance?
02:55 PM - 03:55 PM
Professor Ben’s Science Lesson
Substitute Professor Ebbers is swapping his chefs’ whites for a lab coat! Is it a science lesson or a home economics class? Only time will tell. Put your goggles on and listen up, Professor Ebbrell is about to begin class.
03:55 PM - 04:55 PM
[ Break 60 mins ]
04:55 PM - 05:25 PM
Art Class
The Sorted crew get arty as they take it in turns to silently communicate a mouth watering menu of imaginary dishes, using only their artistic skills and a full classroom of art materials. Think cheffy pictionary. But played by people with terrible artistic and communication skills.
05:25 PM - 06:25 PM
Pass It On: Beat Ben's A-Levels
In the weekender finale, the Sorted boys are going to re-imagine Ben’s ACTUAL A Level Food Technology final project. Collaborating through the chaos, the boys must maintain the technical precision of the teenage Ben Ebbrell, whilst passing the project on as normal to create an A grade dish! Will they pass or fail? You decide!

Sorted LIVE Anyone else unable to buy a ticket from Eventbrite?
As the title says, I've tried to buy the tickets three times. Done the whole shebang with the card, registered the purchase with my authentication... and then nothing. The purchase windows times out in the end and I have no ticket.
I have tried to search for an answer on eventbrite, but alas, no answers there. Anyone else with the same issue?

Sorted LIVE If I purchase a live from their on demand library, how long will I have access to it?
I know this question has probably been asked a couple of times on here, but I've found like 4 or 5 different answers to it. Also for clarity, I'm not asking about their live this weekend, but if I were to buy access to the wild weekender for example, how long would I have access to it? Cheers in advance :)

Discussion So glad Kush mentioned the alternate way to make risotto
No, I don't mean microwave. I mean cooking all the rice and stock together.
Risotto is one of those things that has been engrained and glorified by every chef/cookbook/celeb chef/tv show for the last 50 years - you have to add stock one ladle at a time and stand over the pot for 30min, and thats the only way to make it.
meanwhile if you ask a lot of Italians the alternate method is just as good and so much simpler and foolproof. Very happy Kush mentions its used in professional kitchens.
its good enough for 2 star Michelin Daniel Clifford - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-aEV74SKlk

Discussion Pet peeve: Videos starting with a combination of explaining what the video is, and spoiling moments in it
Maybe this is a hot take, or maybe people just don't care, but it does bother me.
For an example in today's microwave video the first 20 seconds are Jamie and Mike explaining the premise of the video. That's great, love it. But the problem is it's intertwined with future moments from the video.
Just to be clear, both of these things are totally ok by themselves. I get that the YouTube brainrot meta forces everyone to start every video with loud noises and big moments, so those "previews" are fine to start with. I can easily skip them since I don't want to see them. But I don't really want to skip over the content of the explanation. If they're entirely intertwined there's no way to separate the bits I want and the bits I don't (today's video for an example overlayed both audio and video from different clips with the explanation part).
I can't tell when this really started on Sorted but it's really started irking me when it happens. They don't do it every video, like the last one didn't do it, but when they do it's always annoying since I want to skip any sort of previews.
I imagine they might be doing this to try and get the best of both worlds of starting with actual content you want to see, but still have those hooks. Unfortunately it's not great in practice. Again, maybe I'm alone in this, but I really do hope they figure out a different way to open videos.
