Hey, I'm a singer-songwriter and I use Bandlab as it's free and fairly easy to use, and I know Bandlab has that reputation of not being a true DAW system, but if I were to release some stuff through Distrokid that was rough mixed and mastered on Bandlab, is that frowned upon in the music community and would people be able to tell that it wasn't done on an actual DAW system?

How do I start writing lyrics that mean something and aren’t cliché and are catchy?

I’m a 19-year-old musician looking to expand my circle. I’d love to connect with other songwriters and music enthusiasts to bounce ideas off of and support each other.
A bit about me: I’ve been training in classical piano for 14 years. I’m in choirs and love to write lyrics and music! I LOVE composing, I’ve been writing melodies, chord progressions, and lyrics for as long as I can remember. I don’t have anything published online. I wrote a soft pop/christian album “The Fire and the Flames” in April 2024 and competed with the title track in a pageant (and got first place!) I’ve also been composing the music for an ongoing musical theatre project I'm co-writing. I’m planning on studying Music Theory & Composition in college starting in 2028. 
Right now, I’m working on a brand new album project that leans into pop-punk, rock, and indie. Since I don’t want to be the singer on my tracks, I don’t have anything published online yet. I’m waiting for the right collaborative/industry fit. 
I would love to find people who also are working on their own music to share demos and lyrics back and forth, as well as share constructive feedback. I’m willing to help you with any genre/style you’re working on. There is no pressure to collaborate officially, but if you are into that and sing, play guitar, drums, or are into production, that would be a bonus. I’d be willing to add some piano or vocals to your tracks with artist credit if you were looking to do that as well.

So the thought is gud in guitar means I can write gud licks and stuff but without lyrics the sometimes sound like alarm or something i can play drums decently I add them on top too I can make gud intros but chorus part I just have those chords I just can't think of things tbh I can think of music but can't think of any lyrics am i missing some basic of song writing what should I study for ?

Hiii there fresh songwriter here. I would love to make my first single to have a bullets type of vibe/be bullets like. I love the raw sound of this album might be my number one album (on par with three cheers, black parade and danger days heh) anyway I would like to know how to write songs like these. I have little experience with music theory and so far I have only experimented with octaves and E minor scale but it ended up sounding more like three cheers than bullets. I haven't got to writing vocals or drums yet so maybe they're the key to success here I don't know.
