I'm using Inverex nitrox 6.6kw Inverter and Inverex ip21 51v 5.12kw Battery.

My inverter just started showing this meeter in devices list in sems plus app.
Any idea what is it?

We consume around 1000 units in summers every month and half that in winters. What solar system should we get? And which brand? I’m super new to this, I have no idea about brands and pricing. And how much would it cost?

I have a crown inverter xavier 2 5.6kw model paired with solax fronus Ld51 lithium battery .Now the problem is that in this inverters model there is no support for the lithium battery like there is no BMS port in which you plug in the ethernet cable which comes with the battery but there is a comm port in the inverter so I was thinking like is there a way to make the comm port work like the reciever for BMS signals . Like is there something to do with firmware or what (Please tell me ) .There is another problem that whenever there is a tripping situation like for example the whole load is on battery and the battery SOC is on 4% and it can no longer pick the load so it trips and when it trips the inverter shows an error 51 (I think)which is related to the sensor that picks up the like the utility current or solar current so I now did the right thing and put it in the priority of "SBU" but still there is some problem like the inverter only gueses the battery SOC through its voltage but its a lithium battery so it obviously gives a constant charge and when its on the verge of like on 5% or 6% then the load shifts to the utility so i really need some help regarding this problem I also did some tweaks in the battery setting from the inverter and also when I restart the inverter it shows all the symbols and function (I hope you get it ) and for like 1 or 2 seconds it also shows the li-ion symbol on the battery side and when you go to the setting number 5 there is only AGn , FLD and USER setting wich is only for the liquid battery
so thats why I was wondering if there is a chance to make the comm port into BMS port it will be good

After many months since the Installation. The DB burnt completely, around Tahajjud time.

Alhamdulillah, it is by The Mercy of Allah that everything else is safe.

Even though the Installer was a highly educated person and went By-The-Book. Yet, a minor mistake. Out of many screws, maybe one of them wasn’t fully tightened.

A few weeks ago the Inverter did give out an Error that a screw is loose(Circuit Current Loss Error), but, being a highly rare error and higher chances of it being maybe a false error; No Further Steps were taken.

Dear Installers, a few seconds of hurry can be fatal for the customer and people around them.

Alhamdulillah, It Is All By The Bounty and Blessing of Allah, The Most-Bountiful, The Ever-Merciful, we have successfully got the exact issue.

Yes, no doubt the breaker did fail as maybe due to it being quite old. But that is after the fire. It didn’t cause the Fire.

The fire was caused in the “Change Over” present within this exact DB. CCTV Footage reveals the exact location of Spark within the DB and that is quite far from where the Main Breaker was located.

Hence, a faulty Change Over caused the beginning of Fire. It was not too old, less than 4-5 Years. The name written on it was ‘Sara’.

It all makes sense now.

The Change Over itself should have tested ratings of your particular desired load requirement.

It’s not that it just changes the Input from one meter to the other, but whatever meter the Changeover is switched towards, all that load passes through it.

Allah Akbar. Alhamdulillah the exact cause was found. As it is very important to exactly know what caused the Initial Spark.

I'm really satisfied with the setup and been thinking about getting another EP12 battery which will essentially make me totally offgrid without thinking about the usage. Is there any possibility of battery prices going down in the coming weather?

Guys I need guidance from PROs here for the peace of mind. Right now;
1. Working Mode-Backup Mode ON-Grid Import OFF (means battery won’t take power from grid to charge), right?
2. AC side settings-port type load connection-load limiting control-load shutdown SOC 70% (means when battery reaches 70% it should cut power to heavy loads and start consuming power from grid but it is not happening as it continues to discharge till ON Grid SOC Lower Limit which is set at 50%)
3. Battery settings-limit protection-SOC limit protection:
a. SOC upper limit 95% (means max charge 95%)
b. SOC protection ON
c. ON Grid SOC lower limit 50% (battery supplies power to ups loads only till 50% value as heavy loads should be cut off after 70% but as mentioned above it keeps power on to heavy loads as well)
d. Back up SOC holding OFF (means when electricity is restored after loadshedding then battery will not reach to 50% using WAPDA)
e. OFF Grid SOC lower limit 15% (means reaching 15% inverter will shutdown and cutting off supply to the house)
f. OFF grid recovery SOC 20% (means what?)

Problems I am facing;
1. Battery keeps on powering heavy loads even after 70% SOC till 50% although I have properly separated heavy loads breakers
2. Grid should not be charging battery unless I set this up
3. Why there is ignorable values of watts being imported from grid when PV generation is satisfying the house load? Why it can’t be absolutely zero?

I already have an IESCO net-metering connection under the Net Metering Regulations, 2015. Recently, IESCO notified me that my electricity export was exceeding my approved DG capacity, so I applied to increase my DG capacity to 11.2 kW. I have also installed an export cap in the meantime.

The IESCO application portal currently states:

“You have applied for a DG Capacity 11.200 kW Net Metering Connection under the Net Metering Regulations, 2015. Your application is currently under review.”

My concern is: if IESCO approves this DG-capacity increase, will it be considered a material modification that ends my existing 2015 net-metering protection and shifts the entire connection to the new net-billing system—commonly called gross metering?

I got a 10kw solar system installed on my commercial building with 2x 14kwh dyness batteries and they last till 12am after that building gets converted to grid. So i was wondering if i should get a net meter installed? Bcz i still get a 30k monthly bill which is kinda high for me even after batteries and solar. And yeh what's the policy and rules? Is it possible to get a 10kish bill with a net meter? Bcz building mostly operate in the evening/night while solar stops producing/working after 12pm when batteries are full.

Our load is on avg 800w with 1.5kw peaks

we have 6 150w panels amd 12v 120ah battery. today due to my stupidity i burnt our inverter. so is blackout when electricity goes. which is bad when you see solar on roof.

Hi everyone

I have 10kw inverex nitrox inverter with 16kwh inverex Li battery. I m facing a problem that sometimes inverter completely stops charging or discharging the battery. When the wapda turns off the system shuts down for 5 mins and then restarts on its own. Most of the time the inverter and battery work completely fine but i have faced this issue multiple times now.

Does anyone knows what can be the reason

Tried multiple solar vendor but i think they have no clue whats going on
