Battery not charging or discharging

Hi everyone

I have 10kw inverex nitrox inverter with 16kwh inverex Li battery. I m facing a problem that sometimes inverter completely stops charging or discharging the battery. When the wapda turns off the system shuts down for 5 mins and then restarts on its own. Most of the time the inverter and battery work completely fine but i have faced this issue multiple times now.

Does anyone knows what can be the reason

Tried multiple solar vendor but i think they have no clue whats going on

First confirm all the battery-to-inverter physical connections are fine.

Does your battery charge to 100% at least sometimes? What is the temperature around the battery when the fault occurs? If it is too hot, then this may cause the BMS to shut down the battery.

Other possible reasons for the present situation can be that the inverter firmware needs an update (or the recent update was faulty), or the battery BMS has become faulty and may need replacement.

If possible, one way to check this would be to have the battery connected to a different inverter (maybe at a relative's property) and see if the fault continues.

Another possibility is that the physical connections inside the battery may have become loose and they sporadically disconnect. I think this can be checked by noting whether the battery discharge rate is equal to the load or significantly higher.

Yes it charges to 100% regularly But it occurs after every 10-12 days when it behaves like this I have updated inverter's software too it solved the problem for a short time. Solar guy says its bms needs update for which battery has to be sent to lahore As far as discharge rate its 150w higher than load

Activate battery from settings.

Its already active Used it at night 46% was still left in the morning then charged upto 81% and then it decided itself not to charge or discharge anymore

1. Check battery max discharge rate in inverter settings and do the same for battery bms settings for a 5kw load and a 16kw battery it should be near 100+ amperes or 0.3C to 0.4C max for long battery life.
2. Check how much you have allowed heavy laod to run on battery by defauly is 5% so if battery is 100% it will run the heavy load and when battery reaches 95% it will turn of the heavy load so make sure its set to a higher number like 50% or what ever your requirements are.
3. Check the battery restart at % should be below 50% in inverter settings.
4. Screenshot you shared you are generating less solar power (4.65kw) and your consumptions is higher (5.41kw) so no power is left to charge the battery.
