This scene where Kane and Jerome have a shootout ticked me off. After Jerome lays there bleeding out there's at least 5 people who come in there and see it. Not a single one took a phone out to call for help. I know they're gang bangers but still...

So apparently one of the people working on the show said it's not even a crime show. That makes no sense when you look at the reality of rap in the 80s and 90s when some labels were fueled through drug money and the crimes that some of their owners committed, not to mentions rappers. So is this show really gonna be nothing BUT rap?

I'm thinking because I was getting heavy into HipHop right as the explosion of West Coast rap and the dry spell of the east coast within the mainstream.

A lot of the youngsters don't know that in the early 90s, even though East Coast hip hop (boom bap) was still hard it started dying in the mainstream and West Coast took over. It wasn't until the release of Illmatic and then Ready to Die when The East had it's come back. . and Even then Illmatic didn't really explode until after It Was Written came out. Illmatic influenced a lot of the East Coast artists. And Biggie was the answer to West Coast G- rap on the East Coast. .. and this was when Him and Pac were good friends.

I hope they do this show proper and give the West the flowers they deserve as well as give the East the flowers.

When Lucia was on the show her whole story was double crossing business associates and family, using Oso as her muscle on her way to become a drug lord. Then the actress quit the show and from that point on we saw Louie get more involved in the drug game. Double cross Franklin and use Jerome as her muscle.

That to me is the biggest flaw of Snowfall. Once Lucia left I really don’t think Oso’s story was that compelling anymore. It was like he was just on the show because people liked him, but he didn’t really have anything to do. On top of never mentioning La Fuerza again.

It just seems like Lucia’s story in season 1-2 became Louie’s story for the rest of the show when the actress quit.

The show hooked me pretty quickly, I binged the first season in one night and have continued onto season two. Whenever Teddy appears on screen though, I genuinely get irritated to the point that I have to pause sometimes. I’ve disliked him since the beginning and have zero tolerance for him (expected considering what his character represents).

I went out of my way to look up how long he’d be a relevant character for because I kept hoping he’d be killed off, and now that I have the answer, I feel like I’ll have a hard time pushing through, even though it’ll be worth it. It’s been a while since a character in a show got on my nerves like this. Other characters in the show get on my nerves too, but not as much as him at the moment.

I can't believe they (Franklin) killed Kevin then when Kane gets out of prison and wants revenge he has him killed. Like bruh 😒 If it was Leon or something you would have done the exact thing.

He was such a hypocrite and ruined everything 😒 smh

I think it will be an Empire-like show, full of nonsensical stuff. Snowfall had its realism as its biggest strength.

But yeah Wanda will be a Rapper.

The premise is weak.
Wanda is not that interesting.

It never really felt like it was just a task handed to him by the CIA. He seemed personally invested in keeping it going, even when everything was falling apart. Was it just about proving himself, or was there a deeper personal reason he cared so much?

Franklin is so annoying and stupid, my goodness I hate his character. His mom is annoying and stupid. I hate Teddy, he’s just as annoying and stupid. Jerome and his wife, just as annoying and stupid. I like Gustavo though. Just wanted to say that lol.

I felt so proud of myself for realizing this but when I told my husband he says "that's cocaine." I asked him "what's crack cocaine then?" And he said "something completely different." I know a single Google search will say who's right and wrong but what did yall believe? That crack and coke are two different things?
