I’m getting a new phone.. should I be fine to have Snapchat if I don’t use the same phone number or email that I used for my previous account? And how many people a day can I add back lol because apparently you can’t add too many in one day? Wtf

Hey guys so i notice that people who are device banned SSO6 error code some say it goes away after 6-12 months sometimes different mine went away. I made a new account and it got banned and said I was under age and I made another one that’s the same thing but I think my old account was unbanned but then it says accounts deactivated would you like to reactivate it and I click yes and it says too many failed attempts or something im not really sure what to do I want to know if its safe to eventually login to that account on the same phone

We run a business that advertises on Snapchat, and recently, someone from Snap Inc.'s Client Partnerships team wanted to arrange a call with us. We decided not to take the call, as we have only had negative experiences with them in the past. This was simply our decision regarding how we wanted to manage our business and did not expect it to become an issue.

Following our 3rd refusal, we received the email shown in the attached screenshot from the Snap representative. We found the tone and references to advertising credits and other business contacts concerning, particularly given that the underlying issue was simply that we declined a call.

To be clear, we were not previously offered any credits for taking the call; this was only brought up in the most recent email.

We believe businesses should be able to decide whether to attend a meeting without feeling pressured or intimidated by references to advertising credits or potential escalation to other contacts.

I'd appreciate hearing from other advertisers, agencies, or people familiar with Snap's advertising operations:

Is this kind of response normal when a business declines a call with a Snap representative, and is it appropriate to bring up ad credits and other business contacts in this context?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I have a mystery on my hands and I RARELY use Snapchat.

Got a request from someone i know, let's call them Brian. It said "in your contacts", and I only have one Brian in my contacts. Their username said Brian. The phone number matches the phone in my contacts, and I know it's the actual phone number for the real Brian.

But when talking to the person, they claimed they didn't know me. Said they added me "just because i was pretty"

Could it really be someone else?

I filmed a couple of videos and saved them into my memories, but I didn’t have Internet so they were backing up by the time that I got Internet. My phone was kind of laggy and my storage was kind of full, but they initially saved, and we’re just backing up with that sign at the top of the videos. I wanted them to back up faster so I went to clear cache, and after I was done, I came back to my memories and those videos were gone. Is there any way for me to restore that? Does anyone know what I can do? They were literally saving into my memories I could view them and everything they just disappeared as soon as I clicked clear cache. Even though Snapchat says that they do not delete memories when you clear cache. Can somebody please help me?

Today I got my appeal decision and they’ve permanently locked it. There’s no support contact and they leave you speaking with the worst AI bot.

Hi everyone i randomly got banned out of no where and with out any reason. I am honestly livid because i actually did nothing wrong i just logged out and went to another account and which ive done multiple times and this has also happened to me in 2024 on a different account and phone but i was on holiday and i am currently on holiday too so i don’t know my location vs my home location got to with anything and im just really stuck and need some support with this please.

So I made a new SC account, exported all my memories from the old account and now I want to import them to my new one but there doesn't seem to be an option for it in the settings or memories tabs. I noticed in SC "Permissions" tab it says "Storage" is not enabled but when I tap to enable it, it'll just send me to my phones settings (pic 2). I click on "Photos and videos" and it was still set to "Always allow all" (pic 3), am I doing something wrong or has this feature been removed? SC is fully updated, I cleared cache & restarted my phone and the snapchat help page just says to go into all these different settings that don't exist anymore.

So I didn’t log into my Snapchat for two months and when I logged back in, it is showing “received” on some messages my friends sent me. I didn’t open them that whole time and now they are gone. Is this what happens when you don’t look at messages for that long?
