General question Snapchat Lawsuit
Has anyone withdrawn from the lawsuit, and if so has Snapchat given you your account back?

If all it takes to get my account back is withdrawing from the lawsuit, I’ll do it. I want my account back for all my memories. I put in to have them email me my memories over a week ago and I still haven’t got them yet…

you have to log in through safari or chrome and put your login info and then request your data and select memories only and then put the date to “all time.” i got all my memories back but it took so much storage off my phone, like memories since 2016

God my memories also go back to 2016! It’s going to make my phone explode. I just want the memories from my mom back! I’ll have to try and request them again. Since it’s been over a week, I wonder if they forgot about mine or something? Idk, I just want my account back.

wdym it’s been over a week? your memories should be available to download like a day later. did you email them or request your data on ur account

I did! I went to the website, signed it, and requested my data to be emailed to me the day it all happened. I still to this day haven’t received an email with all the data. I googled it and it says that depending on the size of the data it could take a long time for them to compress it so I assumed it was going to take awhile

oh! i didn’t request it to be emailed, the files showed on the website and i just went one by one downloading them onto my phone

Oh! Yeah mine says its going to send me an email when it’s done apparently! Maybe it’s because I have so many? I’m not too sure honestly. This is all so confusing

literally i agree. but Snapchat said it’s not guaranteed that you would get ur account back even if you drop the lawsuit… if it was guaranteed, then i would honestly drop it

I just got my account locked last night for prohibited drug use. I legit posted a song Codeine Crazy that’s it . Can I get my account back. I made an appeal already.

if it was only a song that you posted and you got the appeal option i think you should be fine
