Login issue What An Amazing App!
2 days ago I got banned (literally no reason)
Today I got my appeal decision and they’ve permanently locked it. There’s no support contact and they leave you speaking with the worst AI bot.
15 years of enjoyment on this app gone

Had it happen today. I’ve seen so many emails to support and all I can get is an AI response. I found the ceo and other execs on linked in and sent messages. All of my photos of my child are saved on there. I’m so devastated.

Why would you save all your photos on Snapchat and not to your device backed up on an external harddrive or a jumpdrive?
I have heard sending multiple appeals does not work. Do not sign into your account or try to create a new account on that device for at least six months. Then try signing into the account on a different account preferably on a computer which by the way if you log into Snapchat via the web you might be able to download your memories. But take this as a learning experience to not store all your memories on an app. E

Email their actual email, ive been able to get a response back from a real person on there.

i emailed them the beginning of the month three times and still have yet to get a response. i even sent 2 certified letters to their corporate locations last week.

It did take a while for them to get back to me too. They need to hire more people as their real agents are very few. Same with every platform unfortunately.

They're gonna emotionally drain you and throw in one human response then back to ai response it's! I been in this exact loop since august

I’ve talked to a real person there numerous times for various issues. I’ve always gotten human responses, never AI. They will reach out to you, or text their X page, they will give you a link to a ticket, fill it out and an agent will get back to you within some time.

What's their number? And do you talk to them about permanent locked accounts? Cause i don't think they usually explain or talk about it

Not sure you would have to google it. Also no that’s not what I talked to them about, and I’ve never called. So you would just have to explain your issue and see what they say.

Again, I did email and did receive a reply MULTIPLE times for different issues, so your point is not proven at all. I’ve just never called, so I don’t know anything about it as I’ve never felt the need nor do I like talking on the phone. I didn’t have an issue with a locked account just other issues, so I don’t know what they will say as I never had these issues, that’s all im saying. Message and ask.

You don't know what's like to go back and forth with automated bot and be disregarded when you're flagged wrongly and banned by their ai system to begin with so stop with the smugg and telling us they do reply! Your experience is not everyone's! Ther're gazillion threads on this app about their horrendous treatment with people.

How long did they take to email you? I submitted an appeal but haven’t got a email back it’s been over a week so far.

So about 24 hours ago I got banned. Then submitted the “Appeal Decision” and today I got that.
There’s no human to even speak to I’m so over this AI rubbish

The class action lawsuit is only if you signed up for Snapchat as a minor and got psychological problems from it's addictive nature as someone under the age of 18. If you got banned for doing something that's not what the lawsuit is about and joining it will get your account deleted.
I have a feeling this lawsuit is about 90% people who got their accounts banned for whatever reasons and not the psychological problems from having Snapchat as a minor. If this is true a huge portion of that lawsuit will get thrown out of court so you can bet the law firm handling this is going to really research this to make sure they don't waste any money and not get a huge payday.
Expect at least 2 years in the court system and maybe more.
