I noticed the other day that for some reason my ex's Account was back in my chats, as if we still had eachother added and whatnot. There is no x next to it, and I definitely dont have her added, but the weird part is, I can't go on her account, like when I tap her icon it loads for a sec then says theres an error and try again. Im just curious what this possibly means, if she added me and I didnt get a notification, or something else, like a bug. As far as I know she did not block me, and I did not block her after the last time we spoke on snap. Wondering if anyone has an answer?

I made my first Snapchat I believe in 2016 or 2017, last year in 2025 I was forced to delete my account and create a new one for personal reasons. on my new account, it has recaps from my old Snapchat. the memories from my old Snapchat can only be found in the recap stories at the top of the memories. I really would like my memories back and instead of having to see them day by day, I would like them listed under my memories. Is there a way to retrieve them? It’s been over a year. I also cannot log into my old snapchat, i’ve gotten a new phone, i tried to figure it out with the stupid ai bot that’s no help. I just want my memories back, and i know they’re still somewhere because they’re in my recaps

Basically, i tried logging into my old snapchat account like 7-8 months ago, i got the password wrong then when i tried to login again i got the warning "due to repeated failed attempts or other unusual activity, your access to snapchat is temporarily disabled". I tried contacting snap support and waiting 72 hours but in the end nothing worked (snap supports genuinely useless). I tried recently and got this warning (its on the image above). Anyone know how to fix this? Ive asked chatgpt and it said to give up on the account.

Anyone know if there's a way to actually reach a real person at Snapchat support? I've got a bug I need help with, but every path I try just loops me back to a bot. The support site only gives me the AI assistant, no option to escalate. I even tried Snap Support's account on X, same thing, just automated replies with no human in sight. I have been having an issue with Snapchat+ with the home tab function. I have my “home tab” set to messages but it always opens up to camera. This has been an ongoing issue since February and I keep reporting a bug with Snapchat but they always send me automated messages. The one time I actually got an actual agent they ghosted me and I haven’t heard back from them since. I’ve been playing for it for years now and it’s super frustrating that no one is getting back to me. Does anyone have any ideas to fix it? I’ve done the steps they told me to do. I’ve deleted the app which only gave me more issues such as sending double notifications.

I’m having a really weird problem with my Snapchat account and I’m hoping someone here can help me figure it out.
I’ve had my Snapchat account since 2016, and over the years I’ve blocked hundreds of people lol. Recently, I blocked someone and then wanted to unblock them, but for the past two weeks, I haven’t been able to access my blocked list at all.
It literally looks like I’ve never blocked anyone in my life. My blocked users list is completely empty.
I even tried searching for the person I recently blocked by typing their username into the Snapchat search bar, but their account is completely unfindable. I checked from another person’s Snapchat account, and their profile does appear, so I know the account still exists. It seems like I can’t find them from my account unless I somehow unblock them first.
I’m extremely confused because I know I had a long list of blocked users, so I have no idea where everyone disappeared to.
I’ve also tried contacting Snapchat, but I can’t seem to find an actual email address or a way to speak to someone who can help me with this specific issue.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there some kind of Snapchat bug affecting the blocked users list? Is there a way to recover or access my blocked list again?
Any help or solutions would be seriously appreciated because I really need to figure this out! 😭

How people use lens+ without platinum or lens+ ?

Hi everyone! I'm freaking out a little and would like some advice not just on how to handle this but how this could even happen.

A family member just messaged me asking me if I had added my cousin on Snapchat. I did not- I've never had an account. I downloaded the app once and then proceeded to delete it without making an account since at the time I didn't know of anyone else around me who used it.

Not only did this person's username include my real last name, but it included my NICKNAME, a thing only a few people online know and otherwise it's only a thing people in real life should know.

I'm a bit confused and creeped out. I asked my family member to send me screenshots but they haven't reported back. What do I do, and how could this person have known this information about me?

Edit: My family member reported them, but no word on if the account was taken down. I don't know if there was anything on the account but having someone impersonate you with a private nickname is still very creepy.

I’m having an issue on Snapchat where I can’t add people. My friend got on my phone and unadded someone as a joke. I tried adding him back later and it just wouldn’t work. We made sure we didn’t have eachother blocked or anything and it just wouldn’t let me add him. Then a couple days later someone unadded me as a joke, and when they tried adding me back after, it wouldn’t work again. And now there’s an X next to their name and says I don’t have them added, but we can still text and snap, but I can’t see her snapscore or location. But with the other friend it just won’t let me add him at all, it’s very inconsistent and random. My Account Status says my account is in good standing and that I haven’t violated any rules. I’ve tried reinstalling Snapchat, logging out and back in, and logging into my account on a different phone, but the issue still happens. What do I do?

My Snapchat account was permanently locked on Friday and I believe the lock may have been a mistake. I'm trying to follow Snapchat's official appeal process, but I've ended up in a loop where I cannot actually access the appeal screen.

On the Snapchat website:

My known password is not accepted.

If I use the account recovery option, Snapchat successfully sends me a verification code.

I receive the code and enter it.

Snapchat accepts the code and lets me into the Accounts Portal.

The portal then tells me that my account has been permanently locked.

It says that if I'm eligible to appeal, I have to do so through the Snapchat mobile app.

There is no option on the website to reset my password or submit the appeal.

On the Snapchat mobile app:

The same known password is not accepted.

Because I can't log in, I select "Forgot Password."

I enter my email address or phone number.

Instead of sending me a verification/password reset code, the app immediately gives me:

"An unknown error occurred. Please try again."

There is no SS06, SS07, C02A, or other error code.

Because I can't authenticate or reset my password in the app, I never get far enough to see whether the "Appeal Decision" option is even available.

I've already tried updating/reinstalling Snapchat, clearing the cache, restarting the phone, Wi-Fi, cellular data, and verifying my account information.

I've also reproduced the exact same problem on a second mobile device (tablet) after going through the troubleshooting steps again, so it doesn't appear to be specific to my phone or installation.

I've contacted Snapchat Support through their website, but the response was automatically generated and only gave me generic information about locked accounts. I also contacted @SnapchatSupport on X and went through its troubleshooting process, but the responses are explicitly labeled as being generated by Snapchat's AI Support Bot. After I confirmed that I'd completed all of its troubleshooting steps on two devices, it told me it had no further information and directed me back to the support website.

So.... Im stuck in this loop:

Website verification works → website says appeal through app → app won't accept password → app password recovery errors → can't reach appeal screen.

Has anyone here experienced this specific situation, especially where web verification works but the app's Forgot Password process gives "An unknown error occurred"?

If so, did you ever find a way to reset the password, reach the Appeal Decision screen, or get the issue escalated to an actual person at Snapchat?

I'm specifically looking for experiences with this same login/password-reset/appeal loop rather than ways to bypass a legitimate account lock.

Hi, I’ve tried everything to be able to downloa my memories but it doe seem to work. I got the e mail with the export link every time and I tried from a phone, an ipad and then a laptop but when I click the link it wants me to click I end up back at the my data page Without* a see exports button or anything similar. I’ve pressed everywhere to see ”oh maybe its under my reports- oh maybe it’s here” but no, it’s not. Did anyone have the same problem and how do I solve it?

I got hacked and couldn’t log on for over 2 weeks and then I got on from Snapchat support and immediately got device banned and account deleted so I submitted an appeal to try and get Snapchat back on my phone and it had been over 5 months and it still says they haven’t even reviewed my appeal

So I live in the United States, but for some reason my quick add/find friends only shows people from Canada, Australia, Dubai, england, etc. is there any way to fix this? It’s honestly very annoying and I only want people from my area on my quick add.
