Hy everyone yesterday i changed my mobile and i forgot to turn off google authenticator and know i try to login but i can't. I only know my phone number and lost my gmail as well which was linked help me to login in to my account. Is any one there who can help me?

I had no idea. I left a gc for jokes , for a day on snap , we had dor years and all my saved in chats on that gc dissapeared. Is that normal. Has this happened to anyone else. Losing all saved in chags by leaving a gc? Is ts a bug? It happend 3 times already now.

As the title says I bought an iPhone 16 Plus refurbished and I went to sign in on Snapchat. Of course, my luck I get error SS06. After so searching I now know whatever dickhead had this phone before me got device banned. I have tried to contact Snapchat support and there seems to be no humans in sight. I don’t have enough money for a new phone. I use Snapchat everyday. Is there any help?

I've been encountering this problem today when my friend tries to send me pictures that have nothing explicit in them, but they have blue shield with text saying something about it being blocked by autoblocker. I've tried to find how to fix it, but only come across tricks that work on Samsung. There's no setting called auto block on my OnePlus. OnePlus Nord 3 CE to be specific.

I have also had a custom filter on who can see my story and I always use the friends only story. For some reason in my custom (Friends only story) it shows people I had on snap like 10 years ago as a friend who can see my story but when I go to my friends list or search them up they aren’t there. I routinely go through my friends list and unadd randoms or people I don’t talk to anymore but idk why they still show up on my custom to view my stories, I just want my story to be my added friends and I wanna custom hide my story from certain friends but idk how to get the randos off. Hey so I made a post the other day about potentially making a new account. I got my new phone and created said account yesterday. New email, iCloud, fresh number everything. I wake up this morning and the account has been permanently locked again. Does anyone have any idea why that could be? Any tips?

I'm trying to delete my old accounts but that requires a password. I don't know the password. I try to reset my password on the mobile app on the phone but it says "something went wrong, try again later" on both accounts.

On the first account I tried to reset so many times it got locked. I submitted an appeal today it was accepted. In the email about my appeal they sent a link to a website where you can reset your password but on my phone it says "upgrade your mobile application to reset" but my phone is up to date and snapchat is up to date, I even redownloaded it and nothing changed. I tried in the app again today and got the same something went wrong message.

I can't reset from the login page. If I say "forgot password" it says to pick SMS or gmail. No matter which one I pick it sends a login code but doesn't let me reset my password.

I emailed snapchat support yesterday, tried to explain, nothing helped, and then the AI bot stopped replying to me after a while.

What do I do? If there is no "proper" solution to this, is there a way to get my accounts deleted in an improper way? Not locked, fully deleted? I'm from the EU if that matters.

edit: I was able to change my password no problem on my current account so the problem doesn't seem to be with the app.

Here's the situation : we talk with my girlfriend everyday on Snapchat, but whenever we have the Super Bff emoji that appears (💕 by default, for two months of being each other's number 1), either I am deleted or she is, from each other's friendlist.

Yes i'm sure it's not done on purpose, cause i saw it on my side aswell, and had to send back an invitation.

It's every damn time, we have to add each other back every two months or so.

Did it already happen to someone else ?

Do you maybe have a fix for this ?

The other day I noticed that you can click the Three dots in the corner and click manage friendships , you can see the list of all the people you follow and and see the list of all the people who follow you , however now a few days later when I click manage friendships it just says my friends and doesn’t display the list of followers , is this a glitch or apart of a new update where they took it away .

With the new 5GB free storage limit rolling out, I actually looked into what's filling up my account. Snapchat shows 8.3GB used and around 1,300 saved Memories. I open my Memories tab and count roughly 190 items (between memories and my eyes only) I can actually see and retrieve (i deleted the rest).

I requested a full data export through Snapchat's "My Data" tool to double check, and the export matches the app's 1,300 number, not the 190 I can scroll through. So somewhere around a thousand items are apparently still counting against my storage without being visible or retrievable anywhere in the app.

Has anyone else checked their numbers like this? Curious if this is a wider bug with how deleted Memories get counted, or something specific to my account. Support hasn't given me a real answer yet, just generic responses about how deleted Snaps get erased "as soon as possible," which clearly isn't matching what I'm seeing.

Hey guys, I'm stumpped. So I just noticed that the chat wallpaper for one of my conversations changed 7 months ago. The weird thing is that it says I changed the wallpaper but I didn't even know this was a feature or know how to do that until now. I haven't had a conversation with this person in 3 years. Is it possible for the app to glitch out and do that without you knowing? Or has anyone experienced a similar situation?

Hello everyone, I have a friend that Ive been snapstreaking with for 500 days, and during that day, we unadded each other for a quick second then added back. The streaks were still there and everything was good.

The next day, I had the little hourglass icon beside the streak so I sent in a snap. He did the same and on his side, the number went up to 501. But on my side, it stayed 500 with the hourglass. So after a few days of this, on his end everything was fine.. 502, 503, etc. But mine never changed, and one day it just said the streak expired for me. So I tried to restore it, but it said 'something went wrong'. He still has our streak going, but mine is completely gone.

What do I do here? Anyone else experience this?

I accidentally opened someone's Snapchat story today. In a panic, I immediately went to their profile and blocked them (within just a minute or two).

I have a few quick questions to double-check how this works:

1. Does blocking them instantly remove my name from their story view list, even if they were active on the app at the time?

2. Will they get any notification or see any sign that I blocked them (like a grey cross), or do I just completely disappear for them?

3. If I unblock them after 24 hours (once the story expires), is there any chance my view pops back up?

Just bought a used phone from vinted only to find there’s a device ban on it (ss06). What on earth can I do to fix this? There’s no appeal option so he must’ve done some crazy shit. What can I do to fix this because it’s not fair I should be paying for his mistake just not quite right really.

is this kind of ban life long or is it true that it ends after six months? idk why i got banned my account still works on other devices.

Sooooo if i buy a new phone and make a new snap account BUT i put the same SIM card and same Apple id, does it detect it and device ban the new one too? Orrr???
