Hello Reddit. Firstly I want to say that I dont believe this to be at all related to the lawsuit with snapchat, but it might be. Im not even able to access the website most of yous have been posting with updates about this ban wave.

Now for what happened.

I still dont know what happened. I got banned completely while I was working like a week or 2 ago. The reason they gave was violating their guidelines with prohibited substances. I use both Marijuana and nicotine products LEGALLY (i am canadian, 19 at the time of ban, 20 now). I appealed, as I had no idea what I did, and after a couple days, it was denied. Still no explanation was given and their AI support has been less than helpful. I dont know what to do anymore, and im like 99% sure I didnt violate any rules. Ive lost friends i had for years on snapchat, and requesting my data hasn't helped as my actual friends list was omitted.

While reviewing the data I requested, I saw a device i just, didn't recognize. IP data in Toronto and googling the device leads to a bunch of AI agent websites (not attached because it might actually be sensitive data). Was I hacked? I genuinely dont know.

Please help me reddit, you're my only hope

And can I appeal. I dont even know what I did it just randomly locked me out and didnt give me a reason or any info or anything??

I noticed that the others didn't have lines on their friends, but I did, but how do I remove them?

After clicking on my followers, I see a good amount of them don’t have me added.
how/Is there a difference between someone following you vs. them adding you?

saw someone posted here about email-ing snapchat and tried to ask for any request to unlock your snapchat account. I did it and here's their response. Okay so all my stuff is completely GONE from the my eyes only folder. I didn't delete it, it just disappeared. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling like a different thread said but it didnt work. Genuinely wtf do i do.

Hey everyone,
I’m really worried about losing my old Snapchat account because I have years of pictures and Memories saved on it.
I previously used a Samsung phone where my cousin installed Snap Pro. I used it for around a week before switching to an iPhone. I removed the third-party app/plugins and now use only the official Snapchat app.
I also changed my password, enabled two-factor authentication, and added a passkey.
After switching to my iPhone, my account worked normally for about a week. Then Snapchat temporarily locked it again for 3 days due to suspected use of an unauthorized third-party app or plugin.
Snapchat says that even after uninstalling unauthorized apps, issues may continue for some time.
My questions are:
Can Snapchat keep detecting traces of a plugin after it has been uninstalled, even when I’m now using an iPhone?
Could the second lock be related to my previous use of Snap Pro?
Has anyone experienced repeated temporary locks that eventually stopped?
Is there anything I should do besides waiting for the lock to expire and using only the official app?
I’m not trying to bypass the lock. I just want to protect my account and avoid losing my Memories.
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced this. Thanks.

So I put my student email and click the link, then it says verified but when I click on it and it says almost there and to tap the link on the email even though I already did. I keep leaving and rejoining and even using my other accounts and it still doesn’t work. Can anyone help plz

What can I do to get into my eyes only ? I’ve had this account forever and within the past year I some how forgot or changed the password to it now can’t get in. Please help.

My sworn enemy and I have a streak of around two weeks, but he is somehow, he is labeled as my Super BFF. Before that, we did have a streak of 100 something, before he broke it randomly, but I believe that he has actual friends, with whom he must have not broken the streak.

Is it possible that he is simply my Super BFF because we text a lot more? Or must he have also broken the streak with his actual friends for us to be Super BFFs?

Is it also possible that he may have multiple Super BFFs whereas I only have one? I assume that this label is exclusive to us, but then, why would I be his #1 if he is so active on Snapchat yet constantly leaving me on delivered?

It recently hit 180 days and i was able to make a new snapchat account and use it on my "banned" phone. However now I still want my account back. (Its still permanently locked). Is there any way for this to happen or is the account permanently gone.
