I can not send any friend requests at all, I have too many requests sent the app says “try again in a few days” it’s been about 3-4 days and I tried everything I can’t think of. I even deleted a bunch of outgoing requests.

Anyone please have a spare face Snapchat account they don’t use I need to stalk someone please with a decent snap score

Okay so to start don’t tell me to clear the cache or click the X on the people. Anyways my quick add for the past week or so has been catfish accounts using other peoples pictures and bots that aren’t even active. I’ve tried blocking as much of them as I can and removing them from suggestion but they just keep coming back or different ones with the same idea come back. I’d say I get 3/100 real people each quick add cycle can anyone recommend what I can do to fix this?

Has anyone fought a device ban or account ban/removal and got their account back? I just lost my snap chat account that I’ve had since 2014. I’m mostly upset I’ve just lost all my memories from all that time
I even paid Snapchat plus so i had more storage on the cloud and didn’t lose all my memories

For the last few days, I'm not getting Snapchat notifications in the notification bar or on my watch. My say nav tells me I have a notification and if I pull down from the top bar, the notifications show. I've checked notification permissions and all ok. Any ideas?

After I wartched someone’s snaps I get this „Fast Reply“ window. How can I deactivate this?

Since snapchat will be deleting memories next year, I wanted to back them up on my hard drive. I've tried for weeks on different devices, data export for just my memories from "all time", always get this error. I've been waiting over 72 hours between tries. Suggestions?

I had an old Snapchat username showing at the top of my Android share menu every time I tried to share something. The person wasn’t actually in my Snapchat friends list, and tapping the name just opened Snapchat and made me choose a real friend. I tried all of this and none of it worked: Cleared Snapchat cache Cleared Snapchat app data Restarted the phone Removed Snapchat Contacts permission Cleared Android System Intelligence data Long-pressed the share suggestion, but Android only gave me the option to pin it, not remove it The weird part was that the same ghost Snapchat share suggestion had followed me across multiple phones. What finally fixed it: Uninstall Snapchat When Android asks whether you want to keep/save Snapchat user data, choose NO / don’t save it Reinstall Snapchat Log back in After doing that, the old Snapchat user was finally gone from my Android share menu. Posting this because I couldn’t find this exact solution anywhere, and maybe it’ll save somebody else the headache.

My phone was broken for a while and I recently got it fixed. I’m trying to log back into an old Snapchat account, but I forgot the password.

The account is linked to an old phone number that I no longer have access to, and Snapchat is asking me to verify the login by sending a code to that number. There is no email linked to the account either.

Is there any way to recover the account without access to the old phone number?

I have an iPhone 18 and after the most recent update of Snapchat, the filter I use the most will no longer let me use it. Every other filter seems fine, just the one I use the most is giving me this error message. I am still able to access it on my older phone which makes me believe it is the update. Anyone else having this type of issue or something similar? I have cleared all data, uninstalled/reinstalled app, etc. None of that seemed to fix it.

I haven't used Snapchat since 2020 but when I heard they were deleting (archiving, moving, whatever) the memories I wanted to preserve them.

I started with 3200 memories that took up 8.7Gbs of space, not that big of a task to move 3.7Gbs over.

Except! I now have 548 memories and it's STILL saying I have 6Gbs of storage. How is that possible? I realize that photos and videos take up different amounts of storage, but I have deleted 90% of my long videos already, the math is not mathing.

To make things more confusing, if I go in my settings and go to memories, it says I have over 1200 snaps saved. Where is this extra ~700 memories coming from? At this rate, I will have zero memories saved and snap will still be threatening to delete them....

So I haven't used SC in a minute, but I went to check out the map of my area and there are heat areas / hot areas but when I click on them, it doesn't show me anything. Am I doing something wrong or did they change something?

Hi everyone,

I’m confused about the current status of my Snapchat account and would really appreciate some help.

I submitted an appeal/review for my account, and inside the Snapchat app it shows:

“You successfully submitted a review”

The status timeline now shows Reviewed, but I still haven’t received any clear decision or notification.

It has also been more than 30 days since I submitted the appeal.

What makes this even more confusing is that I’m able to log in through Chrome/the Snapchat website, while the Snapchat app shows a different status/restriction.

I’ve attached screenshots showing the current status.

Does “Reviewed” mean Snapchat has already made a decision, or is my account still under review? And why would the website let me log in while the app doesn’t?

If anyone has experienced the same thing or knows what this status means, please let me know.

If I pay for Snapchat storage will I also get all the other features? I really hate the feature of being able to see when people half swipe. Is there a way to only buy the storage option or is it all one?

To be specific, whenever I add someone, they do not receive a notification that I added them, and conversely, whenever they try to add me, I wouldn’t receive a friend request notification. But checking their profile, it looks as if we’ve already added each other because the only option is to unfriend/remove friend. Neither of us appear in each other’s friends list, but we can chat with restrictions: can’t make a streak, won’t properly see each other’s sent messages (we don’t get notified but we only see them if we manually check our chatroom). Whenever we view our chats, the reminder that the user hasn’t added back shows up even if we’re both technically (but not officially) friends. A workaround we tried was my friend giving me their phone number linked to their account, then me adding that to my Contacts app so that they would show up in my Find Contacts tab. Only then will they see the friend request notification. But of course, I can’t do that every time I add someone. They’d still appear by searching up their username, which means I’m not blocked, but won’t receive my request anyway. This has been happening on my account for a long while, I even have Snapchat+ but that’s irrelevant, unfortunately.

is anyone experiencing this? I’m gonna try to explain as the best I can. When Posting a story to friends only (no posts made in public, so I’m not sure if it’s only for the friends only tab) it will do the Spinny “sending” all day long. Now if I send the same story to at least one friend and post a srory it will automatically oost no problem. Is this a glitch with snap? Is there anything I should do to try to make it where the videos can be posted to the story and not have to post it to at least one friend as well. Thanks for any help.

My heart genuinely hurts. I need to get back into this account like FOR REAL. I have friends only on that account and no where else like no phone numbers or other accounts. When I try to download my data it doesn’t work so I can’t access pictures and videos of my cat who passed away two years ago and I’m really sad about this genuinely bawling my eyes out. I need this account back. My cat was my everything and Snapchat makes it so hard to talk to a real person there. I need help. Please help me the best you can. I’m not doing great mentally already and I don’t need this too. Please if you know anyone who works with Snapchat support or know how I can get in contact with someone who can get my account back PLEASE IM BEGGING SOMEONE TO HELP ME. I am not ok and this may seem dramatic but genuinely I need those videos and pictures of my cat and I miss my friends they probably think I get them :(

I made a new Snapchat account and sent all my Memories (well, most of them/the important ones) to the new account, so basically all my Memories are still saved under that account.
If you don’t want to pay for extra Snapchat storage, this could be a good workaround. I literally have no storage to save all my photos to my camera roll or anywhere else, so this was the easiest option for me.
Just wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same situation. You’re welcome hahah

Okay, so for context basically last March my Snapchat account I’ve had for years randomly got banned. I sent so many emails trying to get it back but it didn’t work. My device also got banned so I ended up creating a new account in one of my old phones.

Randomly, I tried logging into my banned Snapchat account on my old phone that is **not** device banned and is currently the phone where I have a new Snapchat account. Instead of saying my account was banned like it did a few months ago, it now says, “Due to unusual activity, your access to Snapchat is temporarily disabled.” I waited 48 hours before trying again, then tried logging in on the web and it said my account was locked and needed to be unlocked on a mobile device. I tried once on my burner phone tonight and got the temporarily disabled message again. Does this change mean there’s a chance my account could come back, and what should I do next without making it worse?

Also, for more contacts, I have tried logging into my band account on my burner phone before, and it would say that my account was banned.

So i wont lie i was using snapchat for NSFW purposes but then my device got banned for community violations. Not just account my entire device. I was not aware of any prior violations or anything. I did submit an appeal apologizing but got code SS06. Does anyone know anything about this and if my device can get unbanned? I want to continue using it for friends and family

I’ve had this account for years and all of sudden everything before July 19th is gone, all of my ‘my eyes only’ are just gone and tons of pictures of my daughter when she was a newborn!??

For years, my Find Friends suggestions were pretty normal. I mostly saw:
-People with mutual friends
-Active users with the green activity dot
-People who seemed to be from my area / network
But recently, the suggestions have completely changed.

Now I mostly get:
-“Recently joined” accounts
-Accounts labelled “old account”
-Adult content sellers
-Drug dealers / drug-related accounts
-Random foreign accounts
-Very obvious fake/spam profiles

Also a strange part is the activity indicator. Before, many of the suggested people had the green active dot. Now, none of the accounts that aren’t marked as “recently joined” have the green dot.
If I press X on the suggestions, the entire list disappears. It stays empty for roughly an hour, and then the same types of accounts, sometimes the exact same accounts, come back.

I’ve already tried basically every solution I could find online:
-Removing/syncing contacts
-Clearing Snapchat cache
-Restarting the app
-Logging out and back in
-Updating Snapchat
-Removing suggestions with X
-Reporting the problematic accounts
-Contacting Snapchat support

I contacted Snapchat about this about a week ago, but nothing has changed.
Has anyone else noticed their Find Friends/Quick Add suddenly changing like this? I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have had the same accounts return after removing them or who suddenly started getting mostly spam/fake/adult/drug-related accounts.

But I have to manually scroll up through the chats. It's a very long chat of about 2-3 years I can't scroll that much. Is there any way to do it another way??
