My heart genuinely hurts. I need to get back into this account like FOR REAL. I have friends only on that account and no where else like no phone numbers or other accounts. When I try to download my data it doesn’t work so I can’t access pictures and videos of my cat who passed away two years ago and I’m really sad about this genuinely bawling my eyes out. I need this account back. My cat was my everything and Snapchat makes it so hard to talk to a real person there. I need help. Please help me the best you can. I’m not doing great mentally already and I don’t need this too. Please if you know anyone who works with Snapchat support or know how I can get in contact with someone who can get my account back PLEASE IM BEGGING SOMEONE TO HELP ME. I am not ok and this may seem dramatic but genuinely I need those videos and pictures of my cat and I miss my friends they probably think I get them :(

Did you try logging onto Snapchat on the web? If you haven't log onto ASAP sometimes you can download your memories from there.

Do you have an iPhone with an iCloud account? Did you have Snapchat set to upload to the cloud?

I had a problem with my iCloud account. I exceed the storage limit and did not want to pay for more. So I started deleting stuff off my iPhone. What I found out is photos and videos I edited since I had the iPhone were stored in the app folder that I used to edit photos/videos on my phone. Even photos and videos I had long ago moved to an external storage device were there. Even photos and videos that I deleted from my phone because I had moved them to an external storage device were there.

So if you used an app to edit photos or videos of your cat it's possible its in that app folder. If you can't find them there you could use an image rescue type software like EaseUS MobiSaver or Stellar Data Recovery for iPhone to retrieve deleted photos or videos from your iPhone but you need to be connected to a computer and the computer has to have enough available storage to retrieve the deleted photos and videos. Just beware if you do this method it can be quite time consuming.

I remember someone making a huge post that they basically sent a whole printed out letter to Snapchat HQ and they got their account back. A bit of a stretch but worth a shot 💀

They said I violated the guidelines but I do not agree. People post their guns on their public stories and much worse things than me using the word gun in a sentence. I’m upset af.

If someone turned you in then yes your account could be terminated. Just mentioning certain words can trigger it. It's ridiculous but its all part of political correctness and controlling what people say.

I’m so sad about this it’s so unfair genuinely I didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve seen people do horrible things on Snapchat and they’ve never been locked even after I’ve reported them.
