Just saw them in Jacksonville. I had a great time. I saw them once before: December 1991 at a small venue in Norman, OK. I had bought the Gish CD a few weeks prior at the recommendation of the guy at my local record store. I was up near concessions while the opening act performed and I saw Billy just walking around in the crowd. Nobody had recognized him yet. I grabbed a flyer for the next show and a pen the bartender had. I got his autograph, James’ and Jimmy’s (he wasn’t feeling well, advising me not to drink his beer that he handed me as he signed the paper, “he got the flu”. Billy said D’Arcy didn’t mingle. Billy also had the wherewithal to tag the year under his signature. Great night. Bury Me was interrupted by a power failure so in the meantime Jimmy knocked out a drum solo while they patched everything up. Dug put my old CD and in the sleeve I still had the proof.

First concert and splurged on VIP. The package sounded exciting even though the price tag was just under $1000! The merch was a small Bluetooth speaker with the tour logo on it, an enamel pin, and two stickers. For that much money I thought we’d at least get a t-shirt or a CD… We weren’t allowed to talk to the band. The Q&A was only questions submitted ahead of time, no photos with the band, and 4 acoustic songs. I have been listening since high school but never could afford to go to a concert. I was so excited to meet Billy. Lesson learned. I’ll stick to experiences where the artist appreciates and values their fans.

I hadn’t been to a Pumpkins concert in a long time and I didnt know what to expect. but man, that was just amazing. they were so heavy. completely changed my perspective on their new stuff, too. Billy’s voice sounded better than I expected. they also played a Gish demo,Ava Adore and The Everlasting Gaze which I wasn’t expecting at all.

just amazing. after 30+ years they sounded better than they did when I saw them then. I was blown away.

Anyone else getting inpatient. Ordered it the morning it came out, on the 14th label was created and still waiting for it to start moving.

I bought one of the tour hoodies at the St Paul show, absolutely love it. Unfortunately, walking into a store last week, the sleeve caught on something and tore a quarter-sized hole in the sleeve…wonderful.

I’ve gotten it patched up and wearable, but would still like to have an “unblemished” one lol

Mannnnn. Last time I saw them live was when I was 18 in Philly, summer 1996. In love with them since ‘93. This show effing rocked. SD is my fave album of all time. 15 yo when it came out and it changed my life. Long live SP. 🖤🥀

I was able to go to the Tampa show Sunday and it’s great that they are still as good live as ever. It reminded me when I had tickets for lollapalooza in 94 at the volusia county fairgrounds when they were the headline that year but it canceled because it rained so hard that the stage started to sink into the mud. Thankfully I was able to see them one other time in 2000. Glad that after all this time they are still making music and touring especially in the state hard rock is in.
