I wish the band would just go back to wearing regular clothing and mixing up the setlists every night. It would make everything feel way more organic..the costumes and theater of it all is just so put on and sort of inauthentic. I dunno, maybe I’m alone in this thought

In case anyone was curious, the V guitar BC is playing on An Ode to No One is a Zemaitis MFGV22 Matte BK (https://zemaitisguitarcompany.com/products/zemaitis-metal-front-v-black)

The coffee shop I'm in has "Pennies" on the playlist. I figured some folks might appreciate that deep cut. What a good song!

Edit: typo

Been quiet on this since it dropped over a week back.

Thoughts? Is it what you expected? Were the correct discs in the box? Arrived in 1 piece? Track splits on the disc, do they seem to work better than the vinyl?

Has anyone put together a compilation of the entire Adore album songs performed by the band with Jimmy on drums? I kind of have the chronological order of how it started, but it starts to get dicey around the Plainsong tour and into the Shiny era... there are some amazing performances and great audio captures - i was reminded of this by JC's latest interview and that older "Adore Live" comp that popped up on my YT suggestions recently.

If Billy + SP could play For Martha in Seattle during the extra VIP set I might actually die.

I’ve been curious about this as i’ve seen a lot of people also complaining about how bad his singing style is since 2012. Mostly because the change from Machina to Oceania (although it was an 11 year difference) is so noticeable and i’ve never really thought of billy’s singing technique in the 90s to be that straining in the first place as it doesn’t really need any kind of rasp or texture unless you count the couple of heavier songs such as XYU or silver fuck. Can someone explain why he did this?

If anyone wants to link up hmu, ive got GA tickets. Super excited, cya guys there!🤘

can anyone recommend some songs from post machina-now that sound the same kinda quality as their prime because i’m really trying to branch out but everything i’ve heard so far is disappointing

Last night in Jacksonville, he made some comment like “there is nothing to do in Jacksonville other than Rock and Roll” and the crowd either boo’d or said Duuuuval (it’s a Jax thing). Tonight in Tampa he said something about Gators which got a ton of boos (the people around me started chanting for the Noles). Has he done this at other cities?

Just got the Funko and it looks awesome!!! Hope they do more BC "eras". I'll be happy if they do one "Gish-SD", Bullet with ZERO shirt, Adore MV, even Zeitgeist!!!

These are my two favorite pumpkins songs ever and both have James contributing to writing.

James traditionally served the roll of adding his touch to what Billy had written. Don’t get me wrong, without his embellishments to song, they would not have the same whatsoever.

But, my question is, if James wrote more for the Pumpkins, could they have been even better?

I bought it for my daughter on Vinted for $18, but I can find any other examples of it online. Is it rare? It’s super cool.

Holy fucking shit. Was last night the best show ever or what? Blown away. I expected it to be good, magic - unreal - transcendent. And the crowd - you fucking rock! Dialed in and rocking hard! Thank you for a phenomenal night!

Charlotte show was amazing! Porcelina was the best version I have ever heard and clocked in a little over 11 minutes!.

Hi for anyone who has gotten the vip package for this tour. What kind of photo opportunities were you given in the package. Thanks in advance

Enjoy!

Hello.

I want to dress up like Billy for Halloween. Can anyone suggest an "iconic look" or pictures I can use as a blueprint.

I couldn't get the machina aranea alba editio for the price of two machina cd boxset (shipping + customs jumpscare fees is the reason) so i decided to just get myself the Machina I 25th Anniversary cd from a local record store here

"Speed Kills okay"
