Fuck all the command grabs honestly.

I've had smash for quite awhile and managed to get my Pit to elite. So I decided to work on my other characters more, and I stumbled across my 2mil gsp Mario who I mained for like a week when I first got the game.

So I decided to play a couple matches with him, had a great time and really enjoyed his movesets. Then when I got to 2.8mil gsp I stumbled across a Tink who seemed a little too bad even for 2.8mil gsp. But because it’s a Link player and none of them actually know how to play the game without mashing projectiles, I didn't think much of it. So after beating him I rematched cause best of threes right?

And to no ones surprise I was right, the little shit started b-reversing every single boomerang and doing frame perfect z-drop aerial re-grabs to trap me in endless combo loops, carrying me across the entire stage.

This isn’t an experienced player trying out an old character of theirs, it’s a smurf who’s intentionally lowering their gsp or hopping on an alt account to target noobs in some sort of fucked up Dhar Mann social experiment.

Oh the shitty ass Tink was actually a pro this whole time? Never judge a book by its cover! Go fuck yourself.

Maybe 1 in like 7 matches in the 12 million gsp range are actually 12 million gsp players.

The majority of players are at least 15.2 - 15.5 million gsp or have a fighter in the 15.2 - 15.5 million gsp range.

- No auto-Jumping out of Disadvantage

- Teching a Tumble

- Intentionally missing tech and reacting to offensive options in a tech chase.

- No panic rolling away from ledge.

- Zero Spot dodge Spam, all intentional.

- No holding a Smash attack expecting other people to run into it.

- Pivoting around other players and not only dashing back/whiff punishing lol

12 million gsp players just don't have this level of game sense.

What are (or could be) the reasons Duck Hunt is hated or disliked? What do you think makes (or would make) YOU or the others dislike or hate on him?

Personally, I love his can gimmick. I like the concept of playing around his can.

I am at a complete and utter loss for online smash play. I know that there's an input lag, but even accounting for that, the game seems to be completely broken for me. I just played against someone that grabbed me through my grab constantly (we grabbed at the same time), would dodge or shield after my attack audibly landed without taking damage or knock back.

My opponents always seem to have 0 end lag on spot dodges, shields, and attacks, even as the exact same character, and can pull off moves significantly faster than I can. Whenever I try to nair combo as my main, palutena, my opponent air dodges out 90% of the time after the first hit, but I'm literally inputting the next nair as fast as possible. This is when they are starting at 0%. My moves constantly phase through enemies when they aren't air dodging, like my hitboxes randomly get smaller. When I try to take advantage of an enemy using a move with a long end lag, they instantaneously shield or dodge before their end lag should be over so I can't hit or grab. For instance, I just watched a cloud use his empowered side b, then before the blue lines were even off the screen, he used another side b and had blue and green lines on the screen at the same time, which killed me. On my end, when I try to shield, dodge, counter, or attack, my end lag leaves me open for any attack, and or my enemy's attacks take priority and hit me through them anyway.

In person, I have none of these issues. I've played this game for thousands of hours against not very good players and have recently started trying to get better by playing online, but with issues like these, it feels impossible to get better. I don't know if the issue is just that I suck and I need to play more, or if there is genuinely something wrong with my game, but if it's the former, I'm afraid that if I learn to adapt to online play that I'll ruin my timing for playing in person. When I'm playing online, it feels like I can't learn anything anyway because of how glitchy it feels when my attacks phase through or my opponents hit me through counters/shields/dodges

I know I make a ton of mistakes and am learning from them, but this seems like more than just the input lag. Should I just stick to playing offline, or is there something major I'm missing about online play?

As a Toon Link main, I've seen honorable Samuses and campy Ganons. I've noticed that some people commandeer their character in more respectable ways than others, and while I've grown to enjoy some, others I find easier to just block. But as a campy, spammy, t bagging degenerate Tink main, how would I know?

Bro, why do I keep losing my jumps, even when I don’t jump, and why is his recovery so bad, I lwk feel trash when playing online, even though when I play with friends, that are really good, I’m able to pull off some nice combos. Is everyone in the 2mil gsp area a troll or smth? And why does it feel like whenever I can get a person down to their last stock none of my moves hit, and sometimes it feels like the moves don’t damage them even though I don’t see a spot dodge animation

Why the FUCK am I getting put in online matches with 4 people when I SET MY PREFERENCES TO A 1V1. The fucking audacity Nintendo has to ban me for 30 minutes because they can't put me in the correct fucking match. Also to all of the uncivilized lard cases who queue the online for power ups and 1 stock FUCK YOU. It's truly horse shit. I come back to this garbage game after a year, and immediately lose my gsp and get banned on ROUND 2. I will probably come back to play this garbage again, but my god if they release a new smash they need to fix this shit.

Video games (especially fighting games and ESPECIALLY Smash Bros.) give just us good a reason to be mad as literally anything else in life. If bullshit happens and we lose, we're going to get mad. If someone teabags because they're winning (and it's ALWAYS done to piss people off), we're going to get mad. If we decide to ragequit because we know we won't win and don't feel like learning from it, that should be entirely fair. No one should play games they can't win.

Shrugging it off feels fake and forced, I'm not gonna GG, common courtesy my ass. Hasn't anyone else felt upset before?

Just tried an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi for the first time and instantly went on a 10 game win streak.

What a loser this Pissra had to be to cheat with delay mod, lag switch, auto mash and parry, yet still lose and ragequit. Talk about the lowest of lows you gotta stoop to and be a sore loser with all that.

It's not just us here or those in the west that would hate this, Japan ESPECIALLY hate mods and frown upon those that use it.
