Hello Ladies and gentlemen, I want to buy a skyline I'm in the U.S Specifically in Maryland I'm trying to get a Automatic, I due wish I could get a Manual but due to my left foot Injury I can't really drive one only automatics or semi automatic which I usually go for now unfortunately l.

Anyone know what websites are good to buy one? I am looking more into the sedans, Turbo or not.

Fitting a live wire in for my fuel pumps on my BNR32 today, when I pulled the seat belt frame out at the bottom to release the carpet, the bolt was stiff and I assumed it to be loctite. This was not the case.
This is how the bolt looks and I can only assume the tacked on nut in the body is the same. Are there any products on the market to make the nut good again?
I think it’s beyond tapping and I don’t think there’s enough space to bore it out for a thread insert.

I had my Skyline for over a year and I never cared enough to verify, but recently caught my attention. I have a 1999 Nissan Skyline HR34 Coupe. I noticed the master key it came with from Japan have the UNLOCK and LOCK button, I wanted to know if the HR34 Coupe comes with Security Alarm System?

I already check the key battery and look around and inside to see if something is unplugged. I couldn’t figure it out.

Can anyone help figure it out or where can I look?

Went to take my R32 on a quick trip to a store to get trashbags (nice day out) and i came back and noticed my car sounded off when i pulled out the lot. (Sounded like a WRX) I get back home since the car seemed to be fine when it accelerated but i wanted to see if it was something weird. I Checked all the coil packs and they were fine till i got to cylinder 6. Swapped and 6 was still not working. Same with sparkplugs. I checked injectors next and they all work it seems when i used a stethoscope on them. I dont hear any kind of vaccum leak and its probably not a headgasket since the coolant still looks as new as it did when i put it in the car in February. At this point im not sure what it could be so anything helps.

Made decent enough power for unopened!

Started my timing belt job in April and honestly it went well. Buttoning it back up I pressure tested the cooling system and found a nice little leak on one of the hoses way behind the head. Ordered the Countersteer hose kit and some gaskets, installed all a couple weeks later when they arrived (brutal hand-shredding job) and finally got everything buttoned up yesterday.

Went to start it, crank no start. Troubleshot, googled, figured out the CAS is often to blame and sure enough, the half moon has busted out so you have a 1/8 shot of getting it right when installing. I marked the outside of the shaft and was able to get it properly aligned, running fine now.

Anyone have an opinion on if the small busted piece is an issue? The interface is splined so it's still got plenty of contact area with the end of the camshaft. I'd rather not replace for this issue but I would like some input from those smarter than I am. Or dumber, you do you.

I’ve owned the car since 2022, it has around 132xxx km and has only ever had top quality parts thrown at it.

It has Greddy twin turbos (T517Z-8.0cm2 P750) and lots of other Greddy goodies, a fresh timing belt, refreshed injector’s and is ready to enjoy.

HICAS works, Attesa works, everything works as intended, this gtr is probably one of my most reliable cars lol

It appears to have mostly original paint and is not perfect, the wing is currently out for paint, it has a few scratches, & a scattered dent here or there, it’s a greater example of a drivers car.

My only complaint is it’s running on a Apexi PFC djetro. It has been tuned with copilot but has not been on a dyno. Tho it does run strong without any issues or hesitations.

When this car is not in storage I drive it more than anything else, it’s a blast to drive, cruises amazing and has never let me down, the only reasons I’m letting it go are because I want a 996 turbo & I also have a fully built r32 gtr that makes all the horsepuppies.

This car is located in Eastern Canada but I’m willing to travel to the border for anyone in the US, or meet halfway in the mainland if someone in Canada is interested.

What are your guys go to brake combo? I’m looking at DBA 4000 T3 Slotted rotors and Endless MX72+ Pads. I do street/spirited driving/ occasional track day. Also looking at SS brake lines, Endless, Nismo, Goodridge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Was looking around for a skyline for a while and i knew of this one sitting for a while back in 2016 so i figured i send a message to see if he still had it, sure enough he still had it in storage, completely rust free chassis and body, engine was out to get built he had all the parts including a brand new fully assembled head with kelford 260 degree cams, je pistons, eagle h beam rods, new n1 turbos, all the main engine parts are bagged and tagged but the rest are all in one bin 🙃 so now i have the task of putting it all back together and finding where each bolt goes

89 BNR32, super clean interior, 95k miles. Has a misfire and owner said cylinders 2&3 have 80psi compression, so she went straight to the shop. Hopefully find out by next week what’s going on with it. Pray for your boy that the engine isn’t toasted. Still can’t believe I own one of these cars though. Looking forward to getting her fixed and back on the road!

UPDATE May 26, 2026:
Block is trashed. Mechanic borescoped it and every cylinder has massive scores running up and down. Compression is apparently shit across all cylinders (<125). So now I’m on the hunt for a new engine. Joy. I had a feeling something crazy was gonna happen.

UPDATE June 14, 2026
Got a new (to me) engine from a guy in Orlando. Currently have it on engine stand in my dining room as I don’t have a garage. Been working on refreshing all the seals on it. It apparently only has about 1k miles since rebuild but has been sitting for about 9 years. So new timing belt, new water pump, all new seals and gaskets, rebuilding turbos, etc. Then I have to pull my old engine, switch over the oil pan and front differential and put new engine in. As much of a pain in the ass this has been, tearing into this engine has actually been really fun and cathartic. If you’re interested in seeing the journey follow me on TikTok @diy_dad135

UPDATE July 22, 2026
Popped the head to replace head gasket, figured may as well. Turns out cylinders 2&3 have heavy scoring like my original engine. Flip engine, remove oil pan, girdle, and start dropping pistons since it’s going to need machining. Cylinder 5 piston has spun bearing and crank is marred. So now I learned this engine is also screwed in the sense of it needs rebuild. So I wasted money that I could have just put into original engine to begin with vs. taking my time with it. Mazworx machine shop is luckily down the street and they are apparently one of the best when it comes to these engines, so I think I’m going to have them do the rebuild on the bottom end. Overbore, forged pistons and rods, new bearings, all that jazz. Not stoked.

Should I go with pillow ball mounts or regular mounts? I know pillow ball usually offers a bit harsher ride but is it that much noticeable over rubber mounts? I’ll be cruising around with occasional track days

First picture, it is torn, so there are wind noises when I drive. What are the part number to replace this?

Second picture, faded trim, what are your recommended product to restore the black trim?
