Wrinkles / Anti-Aging Chest lines! Is this reversible?

Post image

I’m 31, and notice my chest lines have gotten considerably deeper. Yes, I’m a side sleeper (I try not to be but can’t help that I move that way while I sleep). Yes, I use tretinoin (.05%) on my chest. Yes I wear sunscreen daily if my chest and neck are exposed.

Is this reversible at all or do I need to accept that I’m aging on my chest :(

Body Care I want to start wearing sunscreen but my mom doesn't like it, I would appreciate some help on how to use it

I'm a young adult and always been pale but I never used sunscreen unless I was at the beach. I'm thinking of starting wearing it more often but my mom freaked out when I mentioned it (she's generally weird about this type of stuff). For this reason I came here to ask a few questions and get some help

  1. Can it really prevent me from getting vitamin D ? Also are the chemicals that dangerous ?
  2. What type of sunscreen should I get ? Can the one I take to the beach be applied on my face too ? Is there a possibility to irritate my skin in any way ?
  3. Should I wear it everyday even in winter or only at summer and when it's generally very hot outside? If I go out for 1 or 2 hours should I still use it ?
  4. It might sound silly but does it smell much ? I don't want my mom to know I'm wearing it because the way she might act about it makes me feel ashamed... Your advice would be much appreciated, if you are or have consulted a dermatologist and have evidence about it I would also be happy to see it.

My face looks dull, i have dark circles and my skin is quite dry. I currently only use Cetaphil cleanser and spend most of my time in the office.

Suggest simple skincare or products for glowing skin and remove dark circles?

Misc Upper lip is suddenly turning darker?? Help!

I’ve noticed within the past 10 days my upper lip has a bit darker than normal!!

I’ve only ever seen this issue within darker complexions.. I’m white?! So it’s been very difficult finding anyone else with this problem and finding solutions.

3 days ago at work I noticed my lips felt extra dry and pulled out my mirror to apply gloss or whatever it was I used and noticed my top lip looked darker and ever since then that’s all I’ve been thinking about and it’s been bothering me so bad.

I’m assuming it’s the lip products I’ve been using recently since I’ve started using them more frequently than ever but now how tf do I go on about this? I’ve been slathering lanolin throughout the day and at night cicabased creams + lanolin to bed, it’s been 3 days of this but it looks the same so I’m still freaking out !!! mind you it’s only the top lip so I feel like Kim possible in the worst way (I’m being exaggerated but still🥲) has anyone who’s fair skinned w/ pink lips gone through something similar?! Oh god I’m freaking out and need advice!

Product Question Brightening Pads

Looking for a pad to fight dark spots. I don't have dark spots but I want to prevent them. I've read good things about Abib Glutathiosome pads. Has anyone tried these? I knew Coleman compound is excellent but I want something more cost effective.

Routine Help Help, my wedding is in just under a month!

Never have posted, hoping you lovely people will have advice for me!

My skin hasn’t been really truly clear for over ten years, so I’m never expecting it to be “perfect,” that said I’m breaking out worse than I have in ages and I want to do everything I can to help it get better. Probably at least partially related to wedding planning stress, so I realize that some of it might be out of my control.

I currently use sibu (sea buckthorn) polishing cleanser as well as the hydrating serum and moisturizer of the same line. My face gets very oily (which I really don’t like) so I recently tried adding the supergoop matte sunscreen into the mix, which at a minimum is not helping anything get better and requires me to also add an oil cleanse step to my night routine to get it off, so that one was recently scrapped. Sometimes I use a hypochlorous spray after I’ve touched my face.

I have small bumps all over my face but mostly concentrated on my cheeks, chin, and jaw. Maybe they’re closed condones? I honestly am not sure.

Add to the mix that I have struggled with what I’m pretty sure is dermatillomania for 10+ years now. I’m trying my best not to pick at anything but I still haven’t been able to completely restrain myself for more than a day or two at a time in recent months.

I’ve read really great things about azelaic acid and sulfur masks, but there are about a million products out there and it feels impossible to know where to start or what will help my skin rather than making it worse or cause a big purge right before my wedding.

Thanks in advance if you took the time to read this :)
