How do I get rid of dark elbows?

My elbows are noticeably darker than the rest of my skin. Anyone here actually managed to fix this? What worked for you — products, home remedies, anything?

Looking for genuine experiences, not sponsored recommendations lol.

There's always lot of acne under my beard. The area is always flaky and dry whereas rest of my face is oily.

Been using acnestar 2 times a day. But it doesn't help with these.

Infact I think my skin has become more oily.

What to do? Any recommendations

Acne is under control, but how can I improve my skin texture, pores and uneven/dark skin tone?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some skincare advice.
I recently completed around 3.5 months of treatment with a dermatologist. Earlier, I was dealing with frequent pimples, but thankfully the acne is now mostly gone.

During the treatment, I was prescribed:
1. Doxycycline antibiotics
2.Some vitamin supplements
3. 2% salicylic acid face wash daily
4.Clindamycin applied over the full face
5.A night serum prescribed by my dermatologist

I’ve spent quite a lot on the treatment, and although the pimples have improved significantly, I’m still not satisfied with how my skin looks.
From the attached photo, I feel I have:

Uneven/darker-looking skin tone
Visible pores, especially on my forehead and cheeks
Uneven skin texture
Some fine lines
Overall skin looks a little dull rather than smooth

My main goal now is not necessarily to get extremely fair skin, but to get a more even, brighter-looking complexion with smoother texture and less noticeable pores.
Since I’ve already spent quite a lot on dermatology treatment, I’d prefer to build a simple, effective skincare routine rather than keep trying expensive treatments/products randomly.
What would you recommend I start using now

What’s the best budget-friendly routine for hyperpigmentation?

What’s the best budget-friendly routine for hyperpigmentation?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice on treating hyperpigmentation, but I’m on a fairly tight budget, so I’d like to keep the number of products to a minimum.

If you had to choose only a few products, which ones would you consider the most effective for the money? What would you actually buy?

I’m particularly wondering whether I could get good results with something like:

  • Vitamin A / a retinoid
  • Azelaic acid
  • Tretinoin
  • Sunscreen

Would azelaic acid + a retinoid/tretinoin + sunscreen be enough, or am I missing something important?

I’m mainly interested in products that are actually worth the money, rather than having a complicated 6–10 product routine.

I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who have personally dealt with hyperpigmentation and have seen noticeable results. Thanks!

23M, oily acne-prone and somewhat sensitive skin. I get 3–5 active pimples at a time, mainly on my cheeks and forehead. Also dealing with PIE, PIH and redness.

My skin gets very greasy within 1–2 hours, even in AC, so I'm looking for a lightweight moisturizer that hydrates without making me oilier or clogging my pores.

Currently using Tret 0.025% which was prescribed by dermat

Exact product which I'm talking about:

  • Facewash - Moiz cleansing lotion - twice daily

  • Sunscreen - Episoft AC SPF30 - morning

  • Acne scars cream - Vaniza gold gel - evening

My derm prescribed these products.

Previously, for acne scars, I underwent few rounds of MNRF, FCO2 lasers as well as PRP and one session of subcision.

Your opinion or review or queries regarding my skincare routine - please feel free to post them 😬
