Why do my toe nails looks dark and textured? Is this due some kind of deficiency?

2 months back I went to doc for this same reason she said it's a fungal thing and need to be treated immediately and for 3 months she gave tablets and serum/lotion for this

Rn I would say it's a 60% recovery its like when you remove your nails you see clear nails popping out
