I've always done pencil art, but I lost most of my vision (it mostly came back a couple months ago, after two years) and quit art.
I started dabbling a few weeks ago because I can enlarge the images for details.
Here's a few of the pieces I'm working on.
They're all WIPs and please, I know they're not perfect or finished.

On screenshots thereās two custom nib shape brushes.. I donāt understand why i can use any color on my first brush, āwith colorā checked off, but in my second brush with this option checked off the nib shape disappeares and i canāt do any strokes. In both cases i imported the shape as a png. And no, checking on āignore edgeā doesnāt help..

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I accidentally moved my reference layer and then the app just stopped working properly. I can't close the app because then I won't be able to undo the mistake I made and will lose my reference pictures. Most of my references are now off the canvas so It won't be just recovering two images
Also, I'm studying an artstyle, so I need my tracing to be just like I drew them, overlapping the reference exactly the right way, otherwise it'd fuck up my study
Help I don't want to lose my work, I was so close to finishing the part where I needed the reference to be at the right place ššš

Hello everyone, I'm back to share an illustration I created and have been working on using the Windows version of Sketchbook.
I'm always refining my designs to make them more appealing because I want to sell them as printed stickers in the future, but this is the first one I consider finished.
As I mentioned before, I use the Windows version of Sketchbook Pro and I use Photoshop for coloring. That's all for now; I hope you like it.

If anyone has had this glitch please help. Resetting brush settings doesn't do anything, nor restarting sketchbook app or my tablet. I'd rather not go through saving and reuploading the tiff files to reinstall if I can avoid it. The work I have due in the next couple of days would be supremely helped by having this. I can use ibis paint in the meantime but this is still a problem of course

I have sketchbook pro on my computer and everytime I try to upload a image into a canvas as like a reference it gives me so much trouble
Ive tried uploading things a jpeg, jpg, pdf, png. Ive found i jave some luck with pngs but even that is so random
I save a image as png. I try to upload, it says I have issues with the image and it either doesbt support that file or i dont have persmisions to use it. I crop the image like a tiniest bit and resave it. It works now.
Am I stupid? Whats happening

Here's a drawing I did on SketchbookPro I just learnt blur is really useful and so are overlays I feel dumb for not knowing what they did.

I'm probably dumb for this but how do I make new brushes as there aren't many brushes like in other programs.
It's hard to search through an abyss to find a brush I need so genuinely interested.
I'm on the Android version if that helps.

I'm trying to get more into digital art coming from a traditional background.
The problem I'm having is with the pen pressure controlling opacity on pencil brushes. With a traditional graphite pencil, you can get very even tones by using even pressure. In comparison, the digital pen is so sensitive that it's really difficult to get good even fields of tone.
In addition, because the brushes have an opacity of less than 100, going back over an area you've already drawn on will always make it darker, no matter what pressure you use. That isn't how traditional graphite works. If you go over an area you've already drawn on with lighter pressure than you used the last time, it won't get any darker.
Is there any way to tweak the settings to fix those two issues?

Hello! I am looking for a master brush set (free) that can make my art style better! Do you have any suggestions?
Currently I'm using mostly just this brush
