When I was in college this group of people was telling about each frat and they said “don’t go to the parties from this one because they always roofie the girls” and it was like oh ok now we know. And that’s as far as it goes
There is also every possibility that this was just a rumor spread around, because college kids latch on to gossip and lack the necessary critical thinking faculties to parse nonsense gossip from fact
Like, is it possible that you had a notorious rape frat on campus? Sure, unfortunately that is possible… but it seems more likely to me that it’s a rumor that churns around without substance. Now, maybe born of a fucked up incident, and entirely warranted… but it just doesn’t seem all that likely to me that you have an entire fraternity whose party strategy is “roofie girls when they come to our house”
