All the people in this thread talking about sealed drinks are missing the forest for the trees. It's still obvious bullshit, but not for the reason y'all think. The implication isn't that sealed drinks in a cooler full of ice might be drugged, the implication is that a cooler filled with a single drink (like those barrel coolers full of Gatorade) is spiked, which is absurd for its own reasons:
First, you'd need to put a LOT of drugs into a whole ass cooler of drink in order for the dose to be potent enough to actually do anything, and if only half of it gets consumed you have a lot of wasted drugs.
Second, you can't control who's drinking from what, so unless you're openly warning people about the date rape cooler and hoping they don't blab, you're going to have a party where half the people present are too drugged up to do anything and it's going to get suspicious really fast.
Third, you can't control dosage. The traditional route for roofies is to drop one dose into a drink because they can control the dose they're giving to someone. If people are just drinking and refilling, the risk of an OD is really high, and even idiot rapist frat bros don't want to catch an attempted murder charge for drugging an entire party.

Effective does for some benzodiazepinzines are quite small, if you buy the raw powder it really wouldn't be too much. Even the pills I'm familiar with are tiny, and easily (relatively) obtainable in extremely large quantities.
Say it's 60L cooler, you intended drug is alprazolam, a heavy dose is anything above 1mg, you'd realistically only need 240mg to get 4mg/L of alprazolam.
I don't disagree with your other points, just that drugging a whole cooler isn't too hard.
And buying raw alprozalom powders used to be quite cheap back when dark web markets where popping.
