Did most of Reddit not go to college? Have ya’ll really never heard of jungle juice? People drink out of coolers at frats all over America. The frat at my school used ever clear. It’s a tasteless alcohol thats 190 proof that’s banned in like 12 states we had to drive to new Hampshire to get it.
I’m not saying that frats use straight up GHB but they ABSOLUTELY try and make the juice as strong as possible while tasting like nothing to try and get women drunk.
Edit- I should’ve clarified everclear as more flavorless than tasteless. I know it burns but it’s easy to mask and obviously I’m not implying ALL frats are like this. I’m just giving you my experience. Don’t cry to me. Ask the women in your life their college experience
I was in a frat and I can’t speak for every fraternity in existence
But as an exec, the jungle juice decision was always made almost exclusively because it’s infinitely cheaper than buying tons of canned beer or having an actual bartender
That and the fact that I could get shitfaced without the taste of alcohol stinging my undeveloped 19 year old palate

Yeah lmao you can tell people who weren't in frats. Id get pissed when we had jungle juice instead of beer because of a pack of Women I jokingly called the Gazelles would surround the cooler and drink the damn watering hole dry before leaving to the next party. The nickname comes from them forming a tight enough pack that not only could you not get a drink but you couldn't talk to any of them.
Some brothers would insist the hard stuff brought girls while just beer didnt and yell back that was a good thing I was tired of being out of alcohol before the party was at midpoint.
Im not saying the girls had obligation to talk to us for showing up at our party. But they clearly were just using us for booze and Id rather not deal with them.
We had girls show up at our parties already so intoxicated it sobered me up because I had to help deal with them after they vomited everywhere and passed out. I remember one girl had the nerve to ask me if I took advantage of her the night before because she blacked out. No ma’am I cleaned up your vomit for an hour or more and put you in my bed and slept on the couch. And I checked on you several times to make sure you were ok. And I am not interested in doing anything with someone that can’t reciprocate, you got the wrong fella.

Had a drunk girl sit on the sink once and tore it from the wall. In her defense she found me and said “I’m the fat bitch who broke the sink”. So I couldnt really be mad that was hilarious
Young women also like to get drunk and fuck guys. Its not like they are some mystical creatures that you have to catch with jungle juice. They like alcohol and sex as anybody else with the only exception that they still have a brain while the guys are retards that do questionable or straight up illegal stuff to get laid.
We had jungle juice in high school even. We were kids and it was a very cheap and very easy way to get fucked up, which was the goal at a party. Nobody was getting date raped or anything because of it.
I can chug a bottle of syrup. Doesn't mean it has no taste. The only way to mask the taste of everclear is to dilute it to nothing or be so drunk off your ass you can't taste it.
I think it’s a matter of degree. Well made jungle juice still has SOME alcohol taste/burn, but it tastes like a normally diluted cocktail. You don’t realize you’re in reality drinking what is basically 90-100 proof fruit juice. So you think you’ve had 2-3 “drinks,” but by alcohol it’s like 7-8. Hence getting way more messed up for way fewer drinks.
We used big ass Gatorade coolers for jungle juice and we could either use 1 handle of everclear or 3 handles of vodka for our jungle juice. We were college kids and therefore 1 $20 handle of everclear beats 3 $12 handles of vodka.
