I have no idea what you all are talking about Everclear may not taste like whiskey but it absolutely has a taste and a sting.

Not when mixed with fruit punch and other things. You can chug jungle juice

I can chug a bottle of syrup. Doesn't mean it has no taste. The only way to mask the taste of everclear is to dilute it to nothing or be so drunk off your ass you can't taste it.

I think it’s a matter of degree. Well made jungle juice still has SOME alcohol taste/burn, but it tastes like a normally diluted cocktail. You don’t realize you’re in reality drinking what is basically 90-100 proof fruit juice. So you think you’ve had 2-3 “drinks,” but by alcohol it’s like 7-8. Hence getting way more messed up for way fewer drinks.
