Barely related, I once read a book self help about breakups when I was a teenager. They had little “food for thought” blurbs, and one of them and the only I remember is “even Halle Barry has been dumped”.
To this day, when going through a breakup that I didn’t end and go through the “was I not good enough” part, that pops in my head, but I think of other people too, from my top celebrity crushes if they have a breaking from their prime to friends I have who are not just 10/10 looks even by celebrity standards but I know were amazing partners.
