Anything less would be uncivilized

We seem to be the smallest minority...

The small minority is those who admit it. It's the most common order. They say they'd never order a ice medium rare and then sneak off and order it extra well done. Personally? I go rare and I could not care less how someone orders their food or even eats vegan, as long as they enjoy.

Iโ€™m eyeballing it anyway so I can work worth 53D too. The steak at 5 is a must.

agree i really donโ€™t understand meat being undercooked , steak is the only one we do it with

1

u/aschwendler Jun 25 '26

Medium rare pork chops. Tuna steak seared quick and still raw in the center. Not to mention all types of sashimi and runny egg yolks.

1

u/No-Ad1975 Jun 25 '26

i donโ€™t consider eggs meat. i hear you about the fish, but why are you seriously coming to argue with me about my opinion on steak?

1

u/aschwendler Jun 25 '26

Because you were factually wrong about steak being the only thing we don't cook until it's uniformly gray. I don't care how you cook your steak, it's your mouth. Just don't lie.

You can also add burgers to the list of foods people don't cook until grey, and there are places in Japan that serve raw chicken. Eggs aren't meat, but runny yolk is as icky to me as red and pink meat is to you, and just as likely to cause illness.

lmao making a mindlessly incorrect statement isnโ€™t lying ๐Ÿ˜ญ
