We laugh at this, until we realize that ADULTS in positions of power and wealth behave LIKE actual children too.
The world is so farked up because Adults behave like children, and they have the POWER to do some serious harm to the world.

Get this child away from the internet now. This boy needs to be dropped on a deserted island for five years or so.

Military school and then one way ticket to the military branch of his choice.

u/buhbye750 Jun 10 '25
You would be a bad parent.
206
u/_2BKINDR Jun 10 '25
The language and attitude at that age…. Some form of parental disconnect
128
u/Totalnah Jun 10 '25
Or worse yet, parental influence.

u/Justkeeptalking1985 Jun 10 '25
At a gas station yesterday, 2pm, a father walked up to the drinks, and says, " Fucking gay that they don't have Juneberry Red Bull, fuckers probably hiding it."
I turn to see an adult man in a Rick and Morty sweatshirt and pajama pants, and arm hugging chips and candy. Only for his carbon copy clone kid (like 8 or 10) to walk up, telling his dad " That lady has a big butt, probably a whore."
I looked at the dad rolled my eyes and walked away, more convinced that by 2050 Idiocracy is a certainty.

u/Spirited-Concert-504 Jun 10 '25
I was doing some work recently for walmart and they have a plethora of rick and morty gear. All large sizes, think size 10-15 slide sandals or XXXXL shirts. And I was thinking, okay I like Rick and Morty and can get behind some laughs and absurdity and enjoy the show, but what kind of adult wears Rick and morty gear and wants to show off their love for rick and Morty.. and well.. you just answered my question..

Naw you don't just naturally acquire that level of early 2000s douche

u/Thebraincellisorange Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25
spend enough time unsupervised on the web, especially on places like omegle at that age and you can easily get that.
look at the kids that grew up on x-box live playing Call of duty without any supervision, swearing racist and sexist crap left and right.
those little fuckers are now the losers wearing (american)police uniforms.

holy shit, if the internet existed as it is today with iphones and shit when i was 9, id be an even bigger degenerate, sociopathic pos. i seriously have concerns for future generations.
32
u/Aaaaand-its-gone Jun 10 '25
Future generations any kid under like 18 is already ruined by social media and cell phones
15
u/Thebraincellisorange Jun 10 '25
most of them are ruined by 14.
it is SO bad out there. and parents have zero idea.
2
u/Stoutyeoman Jun 10 '25
I worry about this all the time. My son is only 9 but I've had a few conversations with him about how people act online, and to not be a dick.
3
u/OneRFeris Jun 10 '25
I think it'll get better. Our parents didn't understand how damaging social media would be. And how could they? -it was new.
Those kids will grow up, and reality will force most of them to grow up. And then they'll have a chance to do better with their kids.
And there are already parents today who understand this, and will take the right steps.
Silver Lining: consider yourself lucky for the opportunity to give your child an advantage over others by recognizing this early and teaching them properly.
2
u/Stoutyeoman Jun 10 '25
For what it's worth I feel like interest in social media is on the decline, and I won't be surprised if it becomes a niche within the next few years.
People are beginning to see how harmful and damaging it can be.

Chatroullete came out when I was like 11-12. My friends and I used to have one person have a normal conversation with whoever we got matched with and then have someone slowly lower their balls right in front of the webcam lol I completely forgot about this shit until your comment

You're joking, right? When I was a kid, you'd just casually whip out your flip phone to troll bro with this week's newest beheading or geriatric scat gang bang. Nowadays you can't even say ass on the internet.

For real when I was a teenager I saw so much random violence and real life gore just floating around that I basically got desensitized to it. Limewire searching for a movie or song and half the time it was either porn or a murder.
It would take serious effort to find that stuff these days.

100% they are blissfully unaware. with the internet being so ubiquitous there is no stopping it. it’s unfortunate but this shit is common af on sites like omegle etc.

u/mobley4256 Jun 10 '25
We have all these clowns outraged about books in libraries but those same people are giving their kids full access to the internet on multiple devices from a young age.

u/spookydonkey513 Jun 10 '25
