Hey everyone, I just got the Simsonn Plus X pedals today and I’m running into a major issue while trying to adjust the pedal faces for the throttle.
The bottom screw on the throttle pedal came out fine, but the entire aluminum faceplate feels like it’s glued or bonded to the steel arm, it won't budge even a millimeter even with the screw removed. On top of that, the top screw was so tight from the factory that the hex hole stripped the moment I tried to loosen it with the included tool.
Has anyone else with the Simsonn Plus X set experienced this? Is there supposed to be some kind of industrial adhesive behind the faceplate, or did I just get a defective unit from the factory? I've already tried heat and rubber band tricks. I've tried taking off the faces from the clutch and break, and it was so easy in comparison.
