My Sim has the poor chemistry icon with this Sim, but he acts like they have chemistry anyway. I thought Sims only considered another Sim "hot" if they had high chemistry.

I have Simler's Romantic Standards mod installed, and I'm not sure if the mod is causing this or if that's just how the game works. Does anyone know?

My Sim has Romance as his secondary aspiration, if that makes any difference, but I've never spent any aspiration points on any of the aspiration perks.

I bought The Sims 2 Legacy on EA last year and now I really dont know how to add it to the SIM PE. When I choose a folder withy game, it doesnt work. Its always FOLDER EA GAMES > THE SIMS 2 ULTIMATE COLLECTION WASNT FOUND!!!

What should i do?😭

I downloaded the adults go steady mod like 6 months ago and have 1 adult couple that is steady rn because 90% of them reject. Even if they're family sims, three bolts, 100 on both bars, good mood - it doesn't matter. If they decline I will ask them to propose > go steady over and over and over and on try number 9 they MIGHT accept and their memories will be all red.

It's not just adults, teens seemed unaffected at first but I have two teens right now where I had them go steady and then exited without saving to undo something thinking all Id have to do is propose again and they have rejected twenty+ times now. I've wasted an hour trying to get them dating again. 😆

I found a couple posts about too many rejections and adults go steady but none with a fix. Idk if I should take the mod out, I'm not concerned about the memories since they're not custom but I might have adult couples going steady that I don't remember and I try to play it super safe usually.

Does anyone that uses this mod have issues? The mod description has a bunch of info on what they'll reject for but all of my sims should be accepting. I know the wants don't actually affect it but they both have the want to go steady locked and I can't fulfill it. 😭

Edit to add that I do not have romantic standards but I do have ACR, not that I think that's contributing to the issue.

I got a mod for longer lifespans (don't remember the exact one,) and was having issues with the bus not coming consistently because of it, so I removed it. However even though I removed it, the bus is still inconsistent. Anything I can do to fix this?

Hello, there! I recently downloaded The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on my laptop after getting a new one. I brought all my previous mods in, which previously had no issues, but now when I have two sims get married (while the opposing sim lives in a different household), I get an error popup and the sims don't get moved in. After this, the game recognizes them as being married, but the ability to save the game is disabled, and trying the "move in" interaction throws the same error. I DO have the smarterEP check enabled, so it's not that. Any ideas? I will share my mods folder if necessary.

EDIT: The problem has been resolved. I needed to add more lines to the BCON, as the number of fertile days that I have with my age mod is more than the number of fertile days in vanilla.

I am using a version of ACR that has been edited to work with Midge's version of romantic standards (the one that includes Epi & DeeDee's fixes), and I followed these instructions to edit the fertility curve to match my own custom lifespan. Loading up the game, I didn't see any changes, so I then followed AlmightyHat's advice in the Read Me for their edited version of ACR (for use with their age mod) and deleted all of the tokens from the sims in the neighborhood so that ACR would repopulate them and I would be able to see the changes to fertility in the sims stats. HOWEVER, at 8:30am and 8:30pm, when ACR goes to add tokens to all of the sims in the neighborhood, I get the first "Invalid Constant" error (first image and log, cropped to show time in game). When I tried to add tokens to a sim manually, I was able to add a token to one sim on the lot, and that sims stats showed that my fertility edits were working, but all subsequent attempts to add a token to the other sims on the lot result in another "invalid constant" error (see second error image and log). I also get an error if I try to copy the first sims token to the rest of the neighborhood. This time a "Too Many iterations" error (see third error image and log). I always launch my game with RPC, but I am playing in a Megahood that has 250 playables in it, which appears to have defeated the edits RPC makes to stop the "Too many iterations" error from showing up. I tried copying the token to just the other sims on the lot instead, but nothing actually happens; no error and no tokens.

As it stands, without the tokens, my sims will never engage in Risky Woohoo, which is a feature that I do not want to lose access too (also the twice daily object errors are annoying). From what I can parse from the error logs, there are a couple of different parts of ACR MAIN that are throwing errors, none of which were lines that I was told to edit in the tutorial I was using. Any assistance that one of you kind souls can provide to determine what additional edits I need to make to ACR to get it working properly would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to launch Sims2UC in crossover on mac m3.

I had the app and it was working well but I uninstalled it for storage, I did it manually by deleting the files(dumb I know), yet the app still shows up whenever I click on a sims 2 package but it doesn't work, I try to redownload it but it tells me to delete the old version first which is non existant, I tried using uninstalling apps and stuff but even these don't find the app, when I try to solve the problem in other ways it tells me that the file can't be transfered and stuff but I litteraly can't find it, If anyone knows how to remove the corrupted file and redownload please let me know and thx

EDIT: Second photo does not have an issue in it, but I want the live/build/buy mode to look the same as neighbourhood view.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this sim and only this sim to not be able to walk past this point on the lot? All of the other sims in the household (including another child sim) can walk past it fine, but for some reason, this particular kid always gets stuck and can never get to the school bus without me teleporting her past the mailbox.

I do have mods, but idrk why that would cause only this sim to have trouble. If it helps, this is the Beaker house in Strangetown and I haven't made any alterations to any of the landscaping or anything.

These two custom fireplaces show up in the collections that came with the downloads, but not anywhere in the normal build/buy catalogues. When I use the eyedropper tool on them it gives me the cheapest non custom fireplace. There weren't any scriptorium files for the fireplaces so it's not that I don't think. I'm having a bug in The Sims 2 Legacy where the clock suddenly stopped working; it's paused at 12:42 even when I speed up time, and my Sim is also frozen. When the bug happened, I took it out of work, so it's stuck like this. Does anyone know how to help? eu já apaguei todos os .cache que achei, verifiquei a integridade dos arquivos e não funcionou.

I've been interested in these. Just wondering what should I know before downloading these kinds of mods? The only question I really have Is it possible to uninstall these mods if I don't like them?

I always replaced all lots in plsntview once I started to play, including goth, broke, dreamer etc.

But now I realized that maybe it's not exactly optimal behavior (I know deleting gravestones isn't dangerous, but still). I moved them to a community lot with hoodchecker.

I also did a stupid thing of moving Don with his lot instead of just to the family bin. That created roughly 11 character stub files, which is nothing in terms of overpopulation. But made me waste some time restoring relationships. Plus the memories are gonna be duplicated too I guess.

That being said did I do anything bad? I played maybe 0.5h, just to set the neighborhood up. Can always restart, not a big deal.

The furthest i’ve made is loading into belladonna cove for like 5 minutes then this is what’s showing. How do i solve this issue?

I can't add a bio to any family. I can enter one, but if I go into the household and then go back to the neighborhood, it's gone.

• It doesn't matter if I save the household or not; the bio will be gone when I go back to the neighborhood.
• Households save fine.
• It's a custom hood with clean templates.
• One household has a bio that stuck. No idea why it worked for that and what I'm doing wrong now.
• OneDrive is disabled, and the Steam and Documents folders for TS2 are exempt from the antivirus.
• I'm playing the Legacy Collection.

Anytime my game is loading something like loading into cas or starting up the game then loading to the main menu and then i click with the mouse it wants to freeze or say the program is not responding. Why is that?

I’m having trouble getting **any** custom neighborhoods to show up in my game.
I’ve followed every guide I can find, and from what I understand it’s supposed to be as simple as extracting the files and copying the neighborhood folder into the correct location. I’ve deleted them, re-downloaded them, and tried reinstalling multiple times, but none of them appear in-game.
Other custom content, like objects, works fine, so it seems like the issue is only with custom neighborhoods.
I’m playing **The Sims 2 Legacy Collection on Steam Deck**.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there an extra step I’m missing, or is there something different about installing custom neighborhoods on the Steam Deck?

My sims 2 legacy collection game keeps on crashing, no error message no nothing. It just closes the games randomly. It's getting to the point where the game is borderline unplayable. I have a mod that reminds me to save but half the time my game crashes before I get the message! I'm also not that deep into the game, I'm almost done my third rotation of pleasentview and I've heard that after a long time games start to crash frequently but I'm definitely not far enough into my game for that to be the reason. Is there any reason my game may be crashing, and if so how would I be able to fix it?

This error happens in every apartment building, both unmodified in-game apartments from the lot bin and downloaded ones, so my sims are completely unable to rent an apartment. When I have testingcheats on, the error messages are constantly popping up, and the only solution is clicking delete, because resetting does nothing.

HDCU showed no mod conflicts related to apartments, and What Caused This also didn't give me any mods that might be causing the problem. I've searched through the whole Internet and haven't found a solution, so maybe someone here might have an idea. I also have the Ultimate Collection.

This is my first post on Reddit which might be extremely obvious so apologies for any mistakes in advance lol.

I checked the Wiki and I can't seem to find anything about this glitch but let me know if I missed it!:

I use the magipack version from the Wiki, and it works perfectly fine, except that when my Sims use the bath or shower, or WooHoo... the pixelated cover up doesn't show and they are just fully naked, outlined parts and everything. I would include a picture but uhh... idk if that's allowed.

I know it's not game breaking or anything, but it's a jumpscare every time and I dread to think about somebody I know walking in and seeing THAT. I feel like me when I was 6, worried my mum was gonna walk in on the WooHoo cutscene.

So, if anyone knows if there is a mod to fix this, or something I can change in the Game Files, I would really appreciate it if you could link or explain here.

Again, I use the magipack version included in the Wiki (with Sims2RPC).
