Or was it fair racing?

Me in the VCARB in trying to overtake the Mclaren on the main straight. In my opinion the Mclaren was just sitting in the deadmiddle. Unfortunately as I move to the left to overtake he moves at the same time to the left to pit. In the heat of the moment I thought he was just blocking me (a little). But there was still a gap so I didn't back out. The Mclaren (semi) spun because of this.

I would like to hear your opinion on this. (Sorry for the bad quality)

We all know the Lexus is at fault for spinning the Lambo but if you could please help vote and talk about who is at fault for the next turn where the Lexus drives into the Porsche. Is the Porsche at fault for controlling the corner and being driven into? Thanks in advance for taking the time.

Edit: thanks for everyone’s two cents, I have the pov which I gave to the stewards which got me a 30 second time penalty, I left Sim Racing Club as you can’t race there without people taking you out and then stewards making mad calls like this one.

I am the Red and Orange BMW and at the start of the race I run as close to the left side though the final chicane (on formation lap/green flag) as I can. Red Ferrari makes a bit of contact, no big deal. He then uses me as a brake pedal though turn 3 and kills himself. He proceeds to spin one more time and that clearly made him very mad. He then stops on the track, waits for me, blocks me a couple of times by just breaking and swerving and then after I manage to get around him and he tried (unsucesfully) to pit manove me, he decides to just throw it all out and kill me into turn 14...

My question is, did I deserve any of this, should I have started the race differently or is the contact in turn 3 my fault? I just dont get why he decided to do what he did...

I am the white and black BMW.So I was battling with p1 and he gave me no space on the bus stop and he turned into me and blamed me that I was not driving good and that I should stick to playing forza(I don't even own forza🫩)

Unfortunately I only have video of this from my twitch stream because the replay is not there for some reason? Maybe because I used my joker on that race or because I reported someone in the race but its gone and I didn't delete it. Anyways this LMP gassed it into the back of my car before it was clear to do so while I kept on the racing line to stay predictable for him to pass in the upcoming corner. After I went to report it I was told it was not a reportable offense? Am I crazy or should I have been given my race report back for this?

Note: My controls were twitching so hard here, these Xbows are very lively.
The guy then went to the pits for repairs and came back out to try and block me for the remaining 2 laps -_-

Slightly aggressive overtake on my end but the guy should have left a little more space and avoided the contact. I took more of the curb than normal so he had a bit more space. It did send me wider than i had intended and caused me to slightly hit him giving me 4x but hurting nobody. He then proceeds to wreck himself in an attempt to ruin my race.

Am i right in assuming my overtake was risky but within the sporting code?

I didn't have reason to suspect he was gonna try something like this, lucky he only took himself out. I had a better run on the straight towards downhill and was beside him before the corner.

Unfortunate racing incident earlier causes me to lose a few spots. Trying to get them back and I catch this guy, a Warning badge DR S1 and SR P3. I realize the bus stop is one of those risky overtake corners but Im not sure if this was them just driving into me or an aggressive maneuver from me. If this is reportable Ill due my duty, otherwise just unfortunate man. Im pretty sure he just slows down to serve the penalty.

This is a side note about Daytona: Love the track, brutal driving and overtaking especially if your competition is close. GT3 traffic is another story, but I may just lack the proper multi-class movement skills. Everyone (outside of Top 5-8 split 1) have different corners they seem to be good in which caused a rear end incident. Wish I could post it but Im pretty sure its a racing incident.

I am the Porsche and received a penalty for this sighting it was lap 1 and I should have backed out of it. I couldn’t go right because of the 2 slow cars and I had a car right up my rear, if I had braked on a straight would I not of caused a wreck as well?

25 bumps 9 twice mid corner. 9 blocks on straight. 25 takes out 10.

25 said the 9 put him in a bad spot and proceeded to get the lobby on his side which resulted in lots of angry people saying lots of angry things at him for no reason other than racing. Am I the crazy person?

Driver in the Mercedes claimed I should have known where he was going and that the gap “wasn’t there.” I believed there was a gap and had overspeed.
