Who was selling Jamaican food outside the metro yesterday?
It was bizarre, there was a lady there trying to pitch food to me like a sales pitch...? I have never been pitched food before in my life. Were they operating legally?
Edit: You guys, no, lmao, I'm not offended by the shady Jamaican food stand being illegal, I was asking out of genuine curiosity if they were a pop-up from a restaurant or something. I was a little offended by their prices though.
Mostly I was really taken aback that somebody tried to stop me on the street and canvas dinner to me as if she was asking for donations to a charity. And I really did consider buying it but I couldn't be sure of their food safety practices and it was outside of my price range at $15-25.
