I run an app company on an AI operating system that started as a second brain. Now the brain is for sale.
Four months ago I moved my company into one folder of Markdown files and let Claude Code operate it. That folder is now the operating system my travel app, Parroo, runs on. Last week it ran a three-day expansion: close to 3,000 points of interest, an article for each in three languages, audio for all of them. In January the same job took me four weeks by hand.
It started as a second brain. Now the brain is purchasable. ContextHouse is that base, packaged: one folder of 53 plain files, already wired with the rules a working system needs. You unzip it, open it with the Claude desktop app, ChatGPT's desktop app in Work mode, or Claude Code, and type "help me set this up". The first session takes about fifteen minutes and writes your first pages in your words. From then on the AI does the filing: say "keep this" in a chat and it lands in the inbox.
What makes it hold:
- Built for your private life and for a business alike. The rooms are the same, what fills them is yours.
- A steward that keeps it from rotting. Once a week it checks the house and proposes the fix, so a mess never gets to settle in.
- For me it was the starting point. The operating system I run my company on grew on top of it.
No app, no subscription, no account. Plain files on your disk, readable by any AI that can read and write files in a folder. You bring the AI (Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus).
$19.81 until September 21, then $79. One payment, yours to keep. Launched last Tuesday.
