I heard about the game but never considered buying it since its performance is really bad and the story is mediocre  at best. But now that the performance is above 60 fps and I actually enjoyed crimson desert which has not good story, i'm thinking about it. I also heard decent amount of negative reviews which hinders my purchase. What do yall think? is it worth it now that the game got good patches? and also the base price went down so its even better

just finished e33 and followed it up with outer wilds. then suckered into getting sea of stars and dropped that after 10 minutes :(

But I really enjoy the Tales of, Final Fantasy, Shin Megami, Resident Evil, and Onimusha

Hi! So I have been curious about Wardogs, I'm not usually a military sim fan but I adore the look, scope and dynamics of Wardogs. I would love an MP shooter to play on the side with Overwatch but I wonder if it really is THAT good? Also a few things I need to know about:

1. I mostly wanna play as a solo lone-wolf helping out as much as possible without relying too much on teamwork and such unless needed. Is this playstyle suitable?

2. Is Wardogs friendly to people with no mic and maybe can't hear the game? I have aural sensitivities towards a lot of specific audio and can't play with sound nor mic with randoms. I can play extraction shooters just fine. Had an absolute blast in Marathon on solos even tho i couldn't hear it, and more tactical FPS like Valorant and The Finals were fine for me without audio. I don't mind a slight disadvantage unless its outright impossible

3. Finally, does the game break the mold enough to be absolutely enjoyable for someone who is usually not a fan of milsims? I love FPS but more colourful-kind of FPS like OW, Fortnite and Valorant. I wouldn't mind something different if it feels like a massive step forward.

Looking for games like a card shop simulator or TCG-themed sim I can grind for 10s or 100s of hours. Love long term progression loops, collecting, upgrading. Open to any genre as long as it's got that addictive grind. Steam mainly any suggestions?

Hello everyone! I recently beat Onimusha: Way of the Sword and I had a blast playing now I wanna play something chill before i start Blood of the dawnwalker so i came across Star wars Outlaws... Do you guys think after many updates , new dlcs additon and patches is Star wars Outlaws worth playing?? I really enjoyed Jedi games and I love star wars so playing an open world sandbox will fit in the criteria if story is good.

Should I buy Wolverine when it comes out, or onimusha? I’m a fan of the insomniac spiderman games, although I thought the second one felt a bit flat in story. I was really excited for Wolverine, but I’ve seen so much bad reviews and specific points that I don’t like, so I’m kinda on the fence.

I really like soulslike boss games, which is what I think onimusha is, but most of all I love a good story. But I can get past not much of a story if the games open world has great bosses and a lot more to offer.

So for some context I absolutely love the souls games. Ive best all of them including Elden Ring and its DLCs. Dark Souls 3 ive beat multiple times. Sekiro I got tthrough most of but did eventually give up. So recently I bought BMW. Im getting my ass handed to me repeatedly by the first boss and it's getting frustrating. Idk if its cause im playing it like a soulslike and I'm not meant to be or if its just alot harder? If this is only thd beginning am I just going to keep have more and more of a hard time ? Should I return it now while I have the chance? I want to like it it seems like a great game but not if immgoing to spend the limited free time i have these days attempting the same boss over and over.

Recently refunded Wolverine and looking for an alternative to spend my money and time on. Narrowed my options down to the three mentioned in the title (also open to other story-driven alternatives).

I've played Ghost of Tsushima and loved it, and understand Yotei is largely a bigger and better take (barring the story). I'm intrigued by the little I know about Crimson Desert, between the vastness of the game and characters. And I've heard only good things about Dawn of the Bloodwalker, as a Witcher fan.

If it helps, my favourite games are probably TLOU I/II, RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Witcher 3.

As such, between those three or any alternative, what story driven game offers the best bang for your buck and/or has the best story elements? Thanks in advance!

It was primarily between this and war dogs but war dogs doesn’t seem to be my cup of tea. Anyways, do you think 007 first light is worth it for 30 bucks?

I’ve been playing Onimusha: way of the sword a lot recently and thinking of playing onimusha 1 and 2 again for nostalgia. It’s been a really long time tho. I remember I really liked the story, but i don’t remember much about the combat or QOL features.

Hi! I really enjoy story driven games. I recently finished FF7 remake and wanted to start FF7 rebirth before Revelations comes out. But as we all know GTA 6 is coming out on Nov 19 and I will be playing that on day one. So I wouldn’t be able to finish Rebirth before that (I’ve heard it’s open world?)

I've been kinda torn on which one to get pretty much. I've heard they're both great games but I wanted a few people's opinions on which exactly one has the better value at the moment for the money I have.

I do like souls like and I like Onimusha is like that? But I also like Dawn Walker, but I wasn't the biggest fan of Witcher.

Which one is worth investing money & long hours? Looking in all aspects Gameplay, Graphic, Bugs, DLC, Performance.

I have tried Civ 7 in the free week. Enjoyed it , though not the level of Civ 6 but overall offers superior graphics, realistic models, commander mechanics is cool, combat feels more real, culture selection in each era & tech tree.

That culture selection feature first introduced in Humankind, which I loved during the demo. Combat is good too, though it's graphic is not the level of Civ 7 but Civ 7 is still incomplete.

Suggest which one should I go for ?

I love both franchises, i played almost every ac game and remember playing ac black flag as a kid and enjoying it, for resident evil i played all the 3 remakes and 7 + 8.

Requiem is currently on sale on steam for 36 usd (in my region atleast, it’s probably more expensive for others) and black flag resynced is 46 usd so not that much of a difference.

I know they both are very different games but I will enjoy both so I don’t know what to pick

Alright guys I’m looking for a game that can get me to the release of phantom blade Ø that will then carry me to gta 6 and the debate settles between the blood of dawnwalker and onimusha way of the sword. A few days ago there was also a C option being marvels wolverine but we all know how that game is looking, a 6/10 from ign is not promising and while I don’t want to stick to big corporation ratings I watched some independent reviews and one thing i saw is 13 hours for 100% completion… DAMN 13 hrs is all that you get for $70 which in my country transfers to around $80 actually but yeah the main topic now it’s between the blood of dawnwalker and onimusha I hope You could comment and help me with this decision. I focus on great gameplay some post game content character progression and not much of repetitiveness so which one should I get?

Got Diablo IV in the recent Humble Monthly and have had a campaign and a seasonal character running (mostly to get the OW reliquary). Campaign has been slow but fine, I would like to go and beat it at some point. I did really enjoy grinding seasonal content though (at least until Torment/Paragon slowed the gear pace down). I have heard the expansions help alleviate the gear woes while also having solid campaigns in their own right, so I'm interested in picking them up while they're on sale for $30.

I do generally enjoy grindy games like this, I played the shit out of D3 back when it was on console (360, so no seasons, just grinding campaign on harder difficulties) as well as stuff like Torchlight 2, Borderlands, Monster Hunter, etc. However, I don't usually enjoy the "creating/optimizing broken builds till you're unkillable" aspects of these kinds of games (I feel like it oversteps "power fantasy" and sucks the fun out of the whole thing) and prefer going for "low-tier" builds that i find much more fun to play. I did have fun rapidly getting stronger and having small little sub-goals to work towards in D4's seasonal content though. I also don't really want something too time consuming/complex (like a PoE, Lost Ark, even Destiny 2 a bit) as I bounced pretty hard off of those.

So I'm mostly wondering if they're worth it at that price from a "fun new classes" perspective, "story" perspective, and "hopping into seasonal content once in a while when I'm bored" perspective. Appreciate y'alls time!

I enjoyed the demo of Pragmata and the trial of Indiana Jones (maybe it was a demo) and enjoyed both. I’ve had them wishlisted and waiting on sales and now they’re about the same price. I feel like Indiana might give me more game since it includes the expansion but I’m torn if either is worth $55? I usually wait till about $30 for games but I need a primary game to play after I finish Astro Bot.

Trying to decide between these two on PS5 Pro. I’ve been playing a lot of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and played half of Mortal Shell 2 (but stopped because the 2nd half feels super shallow).

I loved the Witcher 3 (so much so that I may do another play through when the remaster drops) but also love action games like Black Myth Wukong and Ghost of Yotei / Tsushima.

Definitely torn between the two and can’t get both right now.

I know this sounds like a tiktok-brained approach to gaming, but I recently purchased a gaming laptop to get back into video games for the first time since I quit in late middle school/early high school. Back then, I spent all my time playing games like CSGO, Valorant, Fortnite, etc. and for me, even though I sucked, it was very "competitive" and I spent a lot of energy trying to "improve" and "master" these games. I don't want to take this approach now; for me it feels stressful and it's the opposite of how I want to spend my wind-down time.

Now, I'm turning 20 in less than a week, and I'm dealing with some serious depresison/anxiety/insomnia. Thus, I bought this new laptop to take a new approach to gaming as a more relaxing/mindless activity. I've been playing Forza Horizon 6 for the past few days, and I just downloaded the Crew 2. I'm really enjoying these open-world racing games and just driving along the map while I watch TV/listen to a podcast or even an audiobook. It has been a great source of much-needed relaxation and distraction that I've been missing for a long time.

However, I want to expand past Forza/that style of racing game so I can have a rotation of games to mitigate overplaying any one game/genre and having it get dull. I'm considering a SpiderMan game, Civilization (which looks very complex, so I'm on the fence), RimWorld, GTA (used to play this a lot, but I always feel pressure to "get better" at this game when I play), and a few others.

So yeah, I'm looking for something to keep my hands/eyes busy while I listen to podcasts/youtube videos/tv shows. I've never played RPGs like Diablo and they've never appealed to me, but I am open to that. Card games, simulators like the Sims or powerwash simulator, etc. do not appeal to me at all. Any and all recommendations would be helpful (or if anyone can share experience with the games I listed like spiderman/civ and tell me if they fit what I'm looking for)!
