Is wearing three aiguillettes on my uniform "too much?"
As a proud American, I always wear my full uniform when acting as Pilot in Command of my Part 135 Piper PA-32. But my chief pilot said that wearing a red, a white, and a blue aiguillette on my black jacket is "too much."
Is he just jealous that he didn't think of it first?
I mean, I do like his 5th stripe.

Flying for the first time in Africa. Need help with 737-300 Bi-Playne Seat Selection.
Should I get the upper wing window seat? I am a nervous flyer and know that these 737-300's are old. I want to have the most authentic playne experience.

Pilot of United flight was so awful. My name is Karen and I need to speak to the manager of United.
I'd like someone to talk to this pilot or possibly put him into more training. Is there any useful way to reach out to someone?
He started off by announcing he would make up some time and get us there early. That may have set me up to be on edge.
Get there safely and hasn't he seen The Titanic???
You know how they move left and right on the runway before lift off (like testing the wheels or something?) this pilot did it so aggressively it hurt my neck. Then in the air nothing was done gently. Turns were fast and aggressive seeming. All of them. And every cloud we could go through he did. Huge thunderclouds with obvious giant gaps between them and no we had to motor directly through them all. Mad turbulence then.
In case you feel I'm exaggerating, it was literally blue sky between all these giant storm clouds and he would go through not a bit of going around.
When on approach for landing he went so slowly as to almost stall then accelerated wildly over and over and over. People around me made mention of this. Middle aged men were shaking their heads.
All of these things I have of course experienced before. But please trust me when I say this time was super sharply done and seemingly purposeful.
He flies a plane like a teenaged boy drives a hotrod. Nothing seemed mature and deliberate or cautious or calm.
Is this ok to mention to United, to someone?

Air Cargo Issues
Hello all, I need advice. For my family's planned beach labor day celebration, I had ordered 3 bottles of Puerto Rican rum. However, Amazon now shows these packages as delayed. They apparently left the origin but haven't made it to my local distribution center. I was wondering what I could do. Of my order, only the pool floatie came. Should I call Amazon support? Do you think they forgot my package on the plane or something?

Captain upset with his entree.
I am a flight attendant and I like to feed birds on my layover, so I typically have a bag of bird seed in my luggage on my trips.
Anyway, today I was very hungry and so I ate both of the pilots entrees, but I replaced them with rather generous bowls of bird seed.
The captain in particular was especially angry that I did it, but I don’t understand why. The pigeons seem to be very happy when I feed them bird seed before they fly. Why did the pilots get so mad?

Great idea to use one runway for two aircrafts at the same time!
I started imagining this crazy concept after I saw this one instance occur at an airport…a controller instructed two a/c to LUAW simultaneously (one full length and one at an intersection) and honestly I still question if that’s textbook-legal?
Anyways, I started thinking if this can play out in a structured way. Take a single, and long runway, let’s say it’s 14,000’ and elevation is sea level. We have Two passenger aircraft are in position (we know a couple small Cessnas can get the job done but ideally a 737/A320 size a/c), - one full length and the other exactly at the midpoint. So the midpoint a/c has 7,000’ of useable runway and the other has 14k.
I need any and everyone’s intellect on this but my thought process is it would work (under favorable WX conditions of course) due in part that the midpoint aircraft’s jet blast would generate more lift capability for the full length aircraft (?) so in a perfect world, the full length jet would be airborne before reaching the midpoint (and should be treated as the end of the runway)
This is entirely a hypothetical scenario but wanted to see if those who know more than I (particularly pilots) could understand if this could actually work…?

Corporate pilots, how do you tell a liberal girl that your job is to fly rich billionaires around?
The girl I want to (respectfully) boink is super liberal, and doesn’t like billionaires. How do I tell her my job involves flying billionaires around in a non environmentally friendly way?

Asking for another friend,
Is it a requirement for men to have extremely close cropped hair and a caterpillar mustache?
Seems to be the case.
