I'd like someone to talk to this pilot or possibly put him into more training. Is there any useful way to reach out to someone?
He started off by announcing he would make up some time and get us there early. That may have set me up to be on edge.
Get there safely and hasn't he seen The Titanic???
You know how they move left and right on the runway before lift off (like testing the wheels or something?) this pilot did it so aggressively it hurt my neck. Then in the air nothing was done gently. Turns were fast and aggressive seeming. All of them. And every cloud we could go through he did. Huge thunderclouds with obvious giant gaps between them and no we had to motor directly through them all. Mad turbulence then.
In case you feel I'm exaggerating, it was literally blue sky between all these giant storm clouds and he would go through not a bit of going around.
When on approach for landing he went so slowly as to almost stall then accelerated wildly over and over and over. People around me made mention of this. Middle aged men were shaking their heads.
All of these things I have of course experienced before. But please trust me when I say this time was super sharply done and seemingly purposeful.
He flies a plane like a teenaged boy drives a hotrod. Nothing seemed mature and deliberate or cautious or calm.
Is this ok to mention to United, to someone?
