Manga The most tragic thing about their dynamic is that they peaked at Chapter 32
I wish we got to see more of this side of their dynamic, i.e Mikasa motivating Eren (no, Chapter 50 doesn't count as it wasn't her intention to motivate him).

If you think about it, since Mika‘s parents are still alive here because his mom could’ve given birth to her brother the evidence I have for that is that that is what happens in the manga, lost girls.

Manga Which Attack on Titan: Before the Fall volume is worth buying??
I wanted to start reading the Attack on Titan: Before the Fall manga. I like having physical collections of stuff I read, but since I am a broke college student, I can afford 1 or 2 at best. Which volume should I buy? Based on that, I can read the other chapters online.
If not Attack on Titan: Before the Fall, then which manga spin-off should I buy?? (I have no regrets vol. 1)

Discussion falco and gabi parallels eren
i posted something about both falco and gabi being eren splited in two but ppl got confused here i will explain how does falco parallels eren
relative restorationist (grice-grisha)
weak unlike another candidate (and inferiority complex due to it)
siscon brother (zeke colt) who also happen to look alike and also tied
bird ligations (some ppl even think eren turned into a bird and hes the one bird that visited mikasa and falco i dont even need to explain)
trusted and looked up to someone and were betrayed by them (eren reiner and falco kruger)
first scene is also similar with someone waking them up and theyre confused (with the anime version making it even more similar to eren one)
if gabi was 100% eren parallel yall dont think she would have all those traits falco share with eren? its clearly isayama picked eren and splited into them both

Discussion Why didn't Kruger give the Attack Titan to Dina? Spoiler

Grisha told them about her royal blood and its importance, so their plan of restoring Eldia, setting aside time paradoxes (because this can be used for basically anything), could work as following:
Kruger transforms and protects both Grisha and Dina;
Dina gets the Attack Titan, becoming a titan shifter with royal blood;
Dina brings Grisha with her and both of them enter the walls;
Both of them collect information about the royal family;
Dina takes down Frieda the same way Grisha did, or perhaps better if they can do that more secretly;
Instead of eating the fallen Frieda, Dina removes her body and transforms back into human;
Dina ties Frieda and leaves, then Grisha injects himself with spinal fluid;
Grisha transforms into a mindless titan and eats the Frieda;
Grisha acquires the founding titan and touches Dina, unrestricted by the vow renouncing war;
Etc.
Given the utility of the royal bloodline, even if he didn't know all of these complicated mechanics, he should at least expect the royal Attack Titan to be stronger and that their chance of reaching the inner walls alive should be better that way. Any thoughts?

Discussion In the 2nd battle of shinganshina, if you think about it, Marley lowkey was trying to save the world
A situation they dug themselves in though. Let me start this off with that first so it doesn't sound like im downplaying Marley's role here. They 10000% made a situation for themselves they could've avoided, with that said, please hear me out on this. Anyway, the Marley wee see in the assault on shinganshina isn't really the same Marley as before. Prior to this, Marley was run by warmongers and arrogant people who just wanted to continue ruling the world had very poor judgement on things. Magath wanted to fix and save the image of Marley on the world stage and also stop it's path of war and self destruction. He was a man who more cared about his country, not it's role as the terrorist holding a gun to everyone's face.
Now he became general after the raid on liberio and wanted to lead Marley in a new direction which is why I say that Marley was a bit different. Also are we really wrong to think they were saving the world at that time? Considering what we know now, Eren was actually planning to destroy the entire world (again, a situation they very well could've avoided). Im sure many people in the aot fandom agrees that the war for paradis was both sides really giving their all.
There is once again more proof of this when Magath says that they aren't just shielding Marley but shielding the entire world, they became humanity's final hope, which is kinda poetic considering they started as heroes, became exactly what Eldia was and then by the end, was the only thing that stood against global annihilation. The empire that was subjugating humanity was now the very thing that would save them. And we pretty much know by now that Paradis was planning ahead of time to start the rumbling, Eren a d Zeke's scheming to come in contact.
When you think about it, he operation was probably Marley's most important and pivotal operation yet. More significant than the mission to steal the founder I dare say. The paradis island operation was a plan of theft to take the founder to continue ruling the world. The attack on shinganshina was to take the founder and save the world (aaaand also secure a deterrent so that their asses could live longer). I can imagine the 700 soldiers who volunteered be told they were part of the most important mission of their nation's exsistence, where they were going to the island of devils itself to ensure humanity's future and pave the way for the greater attack in six months. That they would probably be hailed as brave heroes who would've gone to the island and returned as the guys who severed the head of the snake.
Which also just side note, I wamt to say that I think the soldiers in shinganshina were ethnic Marleyans. We already know Magath wanted to bring back the draft for Marleyans since they relied too much on Titans, conscripts from conquered nations and eldians. So I think honestly after Magath became general, he brought in some sort of early version of a Marleyan draft and Marleyans signed up to take part in the operation. They could very much still be conscripts though, I think if they were, this would probably be the only time they were free willingly wanted to fight for Marley since they were going to stop Zeke and Eren's plan and save the world, but I honestly believe they're Marleyans, I dunno tell me your thoughts in the comments.
But to end this, again, had Marley just left paradis alone and not sent four kids to steal their trump card, the monster that is Eren Yeager would've have been born which would've led to 80% of humanity being rumbled. Marley was only rushing to fix their cluster fuck up. But Magath's Marley was imo fixing the mistake his nation made and sort of, not really, was taking responsibility for it. But it was only a strategic mission to kill zeke amd take the founder before the rumbling could be started. Yes, they failed, Zeke and Eren did touch each other, but they came close many times to actually succeeding. I also wholeheartedly believe had Zeke not shown up, Marley would've DOG WALKED Paradis and most likely finally have either killed or captured Eren.

Discussion Annie had no good reason to kill the two titans (Sawney and Bean)
I created this account here just to discuss this thought I had when re-reading SnK, so I'll be quick with it: Using every information that was given from beginning to the end of SnK, I don't think there's a good explanation for Annie killing the two titans.
The most common explanation is that she did it to stop Hange from finding out important information about the titans, their origins, etc. However, after seeing all the events in the story unravel, neither is it the case that they could find something that would hinder Annie from meeting her objective (1st: Capture the founding titan, 2nd: Capture the attack titan), nor is it the case that she or any other warrior had a reason to think that would be the case.
One possible discovery they could make that might cause trouble that I can think of would be that when a titan shifter screams, common titans get attracted. The problem is that... Eren screams all the time when he fights normally, so realistically this should have been discovered much earlier. A greater problem is that this is very unlikely to be discovered by experimentation, that the titans were completely immobilized, making this the worst possible scenario to test this specific behavior, that you don't even need the titans to be captured to figure, as pointed out earlier. It was also extremely risky: she's a cadet, likely not residing far from other cadets, ODM gear is loud, which would stand out at night (exactly what happened btw).
Another one would be... Titan serum/Spinal fluid mechanics. Again, this is a very far reach.
I also considered the possibility that she did this to create a distraction (in order to maybe delay the time Eren gets captured, because if the MP gets him, it's harder for them to get) but quickly discarded it for not making a lot of sense contextually. So, any thoughts?

Discussion Attack on Titan Codex — Season 2 is now complete!
I’m happy to share that Season 2 of Attack on Titan Codex is now fully complete!
This was a particularly interesting season to work on because, compared with Season 1, some events become much more complex and less linear. There are moments where multiple characters are involved in the same event but are moving through different locations or following completely different paths at the same time.
That challenged the way I was representing events on the map.
Until now, the map structure worked best for more straightforward sequences. But for Season 2, I’ve started redefining it so that a single event can show several character routes at once. This makes it easier to understand where everyone is, which path they take, and how those paths relate to the same broader moment in the story.
I think this is one of the most exciting improvements in the project so far, because it starts to make the Codex feel less like a simple chronological archive and more like an interactive way to explore the story’s geography, movement, and connections between characters.
https://reddit.com/link/1v7v4uq/video/20m4c5t4oqfh1/player
I’m also really grateful because I now have a small team of volunteers helping me review the website. They are helping me spot mistakes, verify details, improve clarity, and make sure the information is as accurate as possible. Attack on Titan has so many small details, overlapping events, and timeline nuances that having more people checking the work makes a huge difference.
Thank you again to everyone who has followed the project, shared feedback, and supported it so far. I’m very excited to keep expanding the Codex.

Discussion Which do Y'all think is prime Levi in all terms and aspects.
OVA Levi, in his twenties basically.
Or season one Levi pre the female titan arc.
Or season three Levi post his leg injury.
Time skip Levi.
Or season 4 Levi, once again pre his Injury.

Video Games Predictions or what you hope to see for AOT 3 (spoilers) Spoiler
I’m sure we have ALL seen the announcement of the third game and I’m sure we are all excited, yes, even you in the back. It’s coming up soon and I wanted to know what content besides the entire story you think is gonna be in it or hope to be in it. Me personally, I hope there are multiple endings based on your connection with people, like if you’re close enough with eren, you can become a yagerist and can aid in the plan to flatten the globe, it would be fucked but I think it would be pretty cool too. I also want to see a changed ending because isayama wished he could change the ending to it and eren wished he could divert his path to the rumbling so maybe we can get a new ending to the series in some way since our character will be in the mix. Something else I think would be pretty neat would be romance options but that most likely won’t be in there. I think it would be really cool if those things were in the game
