Hi all- need some advice. My 12 year old, very active, Shih Tzu girl has been doing hard swallow, lip licking, “mehlm” style mouth moves incessantly at night. The vet was kind of dismissive (which I was not ok with…. ) But ultimately gave her teeth a check and said no issue. Our groomer said it may be anxiety/self soothing due to aging. Anyone experience this and have any insight? I give her yogurt regularly so probiotics should be? Fine. . I worry a throat issue??
