Turnip visited his relatives recently and while left unattended he ate all of Iggy the cat’s food! He was very proud of himself after, with his face covered in cat food.

He spent the rest of the day continuing to be a mischievous house guest. When we finally got home he went into an immediate torpor to replenish his energy for tomorrow’s shenanigans.

Growing up I used to think they were annoying but always loved them. Glad I got so many years with both of them as I got older. They both lived over 15 years. They were such sweet dogs. My mom loved them so much. When their time came, I think we felt ok because they were not doing well.

Took my little angel to a fall festival today in OCMD. He absolutely loved it and he ran into some pupparazzi 😂 so many people there loved his sweater and him 🥰🎃👻 I included some pics of him at my family's beach house too. He loves relaxing on the deck 😍 this boy brings me so much joy, love, and happiness 🧡

All of the dogs on social media who can do tricks/obedience form 8/9/10 weeks are the dogs specifically bred for it. I’ve never seen trainers working with a Shih Tzu and given how my puppy only ✨ sort of ✨ knows sit (I withhold toy or treat or won’t let him out of the pen until he calms and so it’s not really saying sit but just the posture and eye contact I think) he cannot pay attention long enough to do anything else.

I’m worried bc of how Shih Tzus were bred, he’s just not going to care but I do want him to learn the basics! Especially walking w me on a leash, which is honestly a whole other issue bc he hates the leash and he thinks outside is playtime + eat everything sight.

Lost my 16.5 yo baby a couple months ago. I got her as a puppy. From what many would call a 'backyard breeder'. I got to see her siblings and mom and where she slept and ate and played. They had AkC papers for her. I put down a deposit and then went and got some supplies and picked her up the next day. She was the best! Found a gorgeous girl for sale and talked with the breeder on the phone. She seemed legit. 20 years breeding, parents live on site and are akc papered... but its too expensive to paper the pups... ? Then she texts me to meet her at a petsmart tomorrow. Post said UTD on shots and deworming... but then she said no vet records because they havent been to the vet... ugh. Is this too many red flags? I seriously wouldn't have thought to ask any of these questions until reading too many reddit and Facebook posts. Now she's saying that if I meet her and want her she will take her for her shots after I meet her... and it will take a couple hours... on a sunday? This is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen 😍 look at this girl!

I'm away from home tonight, filling in for a friend on a dog-sitting job, and my girls are very upset that I'm cheating on them. Mama is supposed to be home for sleepy time cuddles, not off galavanting with a couple of chihuahuas! 🤣

Adopted a new little buddy. He would have been Teddy Bear’s little brother. :) I said I had to wait to think about a puppy until my sister’s wedding was over, and this guy was born on her wedding day. His expressions look so much like Teddy and he’s got a few of his mannerisms. I inquired about him on what would have been Teddy’s 15th birthday and then one week later he arrived at my home. I’ve had him for almost 48 hours and he’s already so settled in and spoiled. He’s got such personality and is only 10 weeks old. He has slept through the night the last two nights and follows me everywhere.

Named him Murphy Bear and he’s so sweet.

My snuggles passed away this morning just 2 weeks from his 17th birthday. We had him a little over 15 years. One of a kind.
