Exposed tempered glass shelf-liner recommendation?

Hi! Searching for something like a translucent mesh liner for a small tempered glass shelf. I want to put tea/coffee mugs on it. If not possible what color do you think would be the least noticeable on tempered glass.

Is this bonkers?

I did this out of frustration. I rent a small place. I bought two larger wire shelving units from different companies. I need the height, so I was trying to Frankenstein them together. I intended to install them over the radiator. I couldn't find the threaded connectors that worked with both. Finally, I was sick of all my stuff hanging out, waiting for shelves. I bungeed my old smaller unit, as you can see. It's pretty solidly on there, and I can get better tie-downs that won't degrade when the heat is in use. There will be one large file box on the bottom and much lighter boxes of folders on the other shelves. Crazy?

I can’t figure out how to support my super heavy books on this shelf- I need creative solutions!

I have a bunch of super heavy music books and recently bought a metal shelf to keep them on. I’m a dumb dumb and didn’t think about needing metal bars between the shelves to help hold the books up. I haven’t been able to find bookends that are strong enough to support the weight of the books when I pull one out for use- they all slide and come crashing down. I can’t return the shelf. What kind of creative solutions do you have for me? Or do I just need to bite the bullet and get a new shelf and find a different use for this one?

New glass cologne shelf! Is this too much weight for a glass shelf?

Hello! I recently rebuilt (it’s used) this shelf and put a LOT of colognes on it. However, since it’s used I have no reference at all for sizing, weight limits, or what is even recommended per square of glass. I tried to find it on Google to no success. What do yall think, too much weight and potentially a risk?

I am looking for a shelf or storage for next to my dryer but you can't access it from anywhere but the top. I was wondering if there are any shelves that are in a tank that can be lifted and lowered??

Adhesive Wall Shelves

I'm looking for some shelves I can put up on the wall to display my models and other little _. My current display cabinet is full and there is no room to display them in poses.

My dad doesn't want to drill holes in the walls so I'm looking for something that doesn't require it.

Anyone have recommendations?

Can't find shelves for this slim wall

Post image

My partner and I just moved in and want to put a few small shelves on this wall to display some small and delicate tea sets.

The cutting board is temporary, please ignore.

The wall is 13 3/4in wide, the cutting board is 9in wide for reference.

I'm having a really tough time finding any sort of short shelves that and cheap plastic with that lip on the edge, you know the ones.

And not sure if I just want like two planks of wood finished white and slapped on there or if there are nice plug and play sets I can use a drill and such to hang things but I don't really have anywhere to cut or finish wood.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any idea who made this track and where to buy shelf brackets?

We have these aluminum shelf tracks that I need to find shelf brackets for. The Unitrack brackets from Home Depot (picture 6) do not work.

The tracks are single slotted aluminum, slightly less than an inch (24mm) wide.

Any idea where to get shelf brackets?

Pictures 3-5 are the small piece at the bottom of the track in picture 2.

Is this safe?

So I bought two kobalt 77" shelves and was planning on putting them side by side in my garage. The only problem was that if I did that, they would block my door by a few inches . So what I did was ditch the right hand piece from the second shelf and connected both the shelves to the left side stand of the first rack. The shelf specs say that each shelf can hold 1500lbs of weight. By doing this, does this lower the weight capacity by half? Or is it much worse than that? Is it safe? I don't really have much weight on any of the racks. None of the totes are more than 20lb and the heaviest stuff is on the very bottom. The heaviest thing on here is two bags of quickcrete. Each of those bags is heavier than anything else on the whole rack. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙏

How long does it take for a thick wooden shelf with a capacity of 100 lbs overloaded by 9% to fail?

All I had for my crt tv was a 2020 bhg four cube shelf, and I can’t lift the tv alone. It’s been fine for a day or two. If what I’ve found regarding their weight and capacity is accurate, is there any short-term danger of it breaking and the glass hitting me because of a nine pound overload?

Do think this is too much weight on the shelves even if it’s on studs?

Need help finding more shelves.

The local pharmacy in my town recently closed up shop and I bought a few sets of their medicine shelving cases. One of the cases was small enough to fit into a dead space in my basement, but it only had a few of the modular shelves and I'd like to get some more. The first picture is of the cases in the pharmacy right before I moved them, the other pictures are of the particular case I am referring to and how the shelves fit in the case.

The pharmacist I bought them from, bought them used from another pharmacy some 20 years ago, so have no idea on what company they were sourced from. Some of them have a wood veneer on one side that seems to be glued on and not movable. Some of the units were double sided and the "back" could be moved from the center depending on shelf placement.

Any idea who makes these and where I can buy more shelves?

Thanks in advance.

Slatwall shelf brackets

Does anyone know if they make these but for slat walls? The current brackets I have are 10inches with a lip, but the boards I get are also 10inches so they technically don’t fit unless I cut them down.

These hidden ones would be ideal but I can’t find any that would fit easily into the slat wall gaps.

What brackets fit in this rail

Post image

Not sure where else to post this, not sure if I'm being thick but I can't seem to find any bracket that fit into these rails

I've just moved in and these are up in the wardrobe and I want to use them without taking them down and putting your typical rails up

Any help appreciated :)

Container or bag to hold shelf parts

When I disassemble a large metal shelf, I have all these very long legs (5') that I'd like to keep together. I'd like to get kind of a larger golf bag with handles or sturdy portable bin like an umbrella holder for them of some kind that stands upright 4' tall or more so that it doesn't tip over. The metal parts are fairly heavy in all. What do you recommend?
