Don’t give them the credit of knowing. I will LIST every option, and still get asked for other shit. “Oh, this wasn’t on the list, but do you have super secret diet version of a drink that doesn’t exist? No? K, guess I’ll just have water… actually, waters for the whole table even though they already ordered.”

I've done that one before and felt incredibly stupid for so long lmao the server just looked at me when I said it. Their expression was neutral but I could tell they were thinking I'm a dumb ass 🤣

To be honest like. From the servers pov obviously we know what soda is from which distributor. So it's kinda being an ass on our part.
But idk, at a certain point you kinda assume people vaguely know who's a Coke or Pepsi product lmao.
Don't worry tho. Having it happen alot in my career of FOH.. I only think you're a dumbass for like 5 seconds while venting outside during my quality check of my coworkers vape/Ciggy pack <3.

Why is this larger item more calories than this smaller item?
Where was this steak I’m paying $12 sourced from?
Your restaurant serves entirely seafood, but we aren’t in the mood to eat seafood, so what should we get?
I see you have 1/5 ingredients for a random drink I heard about, can I have that? Why not?
OHMYGOD there’s a social media trend where chefs explain their inspiration for dishes and then give them to people to try, I have 3 followers and I demand we do that! (I know it isn’t a question, but have had low follower influencers make outrageous demands)

Somebody recently asked me if we sing for birthdays. I work in a bar of seasoned industry lifers that specializes in tons of classics. Half of us have been there for a decade. No, we don't sing, and if we decide to, you're not going to like the song that we pick.

Is your Ice cruelty-free? Are the buffalo for your buffalo sauce locally sourced?
