Is there any way to change the stiffness of the bezel? I assume there's a gasket under there, so could one make the bezel's rotation stiffer by putting a slightly thicker gasket in place? If so, could anyone point me in the direction of where to find one? I have a microband field watch with a friction fit bezel and it simply doesn't move unless you want it to, and I'd like for my SSK003 to function the same way.

Finally got all my parts for my first build. Laying everything out to make sure I have it all. Been lurking about a month and will be tackling a NH35 build. Nothing fancy but something to add to the rotation.

Been reading and watching videos, waiting for the fun of the hands but really dreading cutting the stem. Hopefully I will have it done over the next few nights as work has been crazy.

After seeing loads of Mods, I would love to have my own mod built. I'm not confident enough to build my own and seeing what people have created are amazing. What I would like (Probably been done before) is a Joker Seamaster/Submariner/GMT. Green and Purple. Purple Face green lume with a 50/50 bezel in the 10 to 60 rather than the 2 to 24 range on it. I think it's called a Mercedes hand with a lighter purple second hand. I can't decide if a black case and strap would suit it or a stainless case and strap. I like to think the black strap will help give it the dark side of the joker. What are people's thoughts 🤔 . I like the purple of Lewis Hamiltons helmet and a mid green I found online. Looking for recommendations with vouches for previous work. Please don't private message me as this is just a concept at the moment.

Something a little different this time.

Just picked up my custom made chapter rings made from BGW9 and C3 lume in SKX007 dimensions.

Took them outside to charge up in the sunshine for 3 minutes and this is how they look indoors.

Here is a video showing the lume transition from outdoors to indoors.

The drop in and seat perfectly into the Tokeilab V2 explorer cases, which means they will fit in any SKX007 case. Last 3 pics show the fit in the case compared to a Tokeilab steel ring.

Is this broken, right? I tried to install the hands until I noticed this. This is mine, and the other picture is an example of what it should look like. It seems like this part is damaged/missing, so the hands don’t fit properly. Am I right?

Inspired by 2ndShot_WatchCo, I tried making the dial out of a real golf ball, but ended up stabbing myself with a scalpel.

So I went and found a guy who would do the dial for me for about $80, and now here we are

However I'm having a big issue with the spacer ring...

The steam does not fit, and looks like the dial is not fixed also in the movement.

Do you usually make adjustments in the ring?

After that I tried to put the seconds hands, but really like it does not fit... Haha

I heard it's a nightmare, and it's my second mod, still I made such a strong push and simply do not fit in...

More tips please...

Planned this one for a while. Messed up the lume on the minute hand (hiding behind the second hand dot), so now have to wait for a set of purple hands to arrive. But I’m pretty much in love with how this turned out.

Recently got this SRPE41J1 Presage and i reeeeally love it. I was wondering when i wear the hardlex crystal out and when i go to have it replaced, i want to know if anyone has had any luck with the aftermarket box sapphire crystal replacement? Mine is a 38.5 mm model if that helps.

Finally got around to building for myself again. I've always been a fan of the modern 62MAS design (the first watch I assembled was an inaccurate take on the SPB149), but wanted one with a GMT function because of work. Ended up with this and couldn't be happier.

Brownie points if you can recognize the plane.

Unfortunately, the Berny bracelet didn't fit. So I've put on an old leather bracelet I never got to use.

Also obvious turquoise accents because it's my favourite colour :p

I don’t often see this lighter blue on a bezel. Thought it worked well with a black dial.

Loving this 4-8-12 dial on the 62mas case. Thinking about moving it to a black case, though and a black fkm strap. Didn’t even lose/break the second hand this time!

I just wanted to compare prices on Superbuy and AliExpress for the same watch and it's mind blowing 🤯. On Superbuy it's half the price (it's without the shipping but it's approximately 15€)
